Despite the continuing Fake News uproar over Russia gonna invade Ukraine, and the effort to make the Zhou regime appear to be forceful, Putin is winning his showdown with the US and NATO, seemingly without breaking a sweat. Want proof? Check this out:
Vladimir Putin and Viktor Orban are serious, intelligent, fearless men, unlike almost all of the leaders of western nations, Zhou being the most moronic of all.
It is a matter of degree and circumstance. I have seen Putin look very fearful, for example, when meeting with Erdogan. Erdogan has a number of cards to play around issues critical to Russia that Russia may find it difficult to counter. On the other hand, Putin just has to be laughing at Biden. He must be thanking his lucky stars and calculating just how far he can go in the next year or two (before, in any sane country, Biden would be removed). Maybe the dissolution of NATO? Looks like a reasonable possibility at this point.
Orban, like Zelensky and every other Eastern European leader (especially those in the former Soviet block) has had to recalculate since Trump's removal in doing what he thinks is best for his country. Right now Putin has the leverage and the power - best to play nice with him. Plus, who would trust the U.S. in general and Dementia Joe in particular? Especially when he (and his staff) may not even be in office a year from now? I mean, there is no substance and stability in the U.S. foreign policy under Biden and that is quite obvious.
