Despite the continuing Fake News uproar over Russia gonna invade Ukraine, and the effort to make the Zhou regime appear to be forceful, Putin is winning his showdown with the US and NATO, seemingly without breaking a sweat. Want proof? Check this out:
Biden offers Russia access to NATO bases to ease Ukraine crisis
There’s nothing in the article about us getting access to Russian bases. But the Pentagon is confirming that this is real:
The White House floated an offer to Russian President Vladimir Putin that would allow Kremlin access to key NATO bases in exchange for Moscow de-escalating tensions over its military buildup on Ukraine’s border.
...
The responses to Russia from the US and NATO were leaked to the Spanish newspaper El Pais and published late Tuesday. The Pentagon confirmed the authenticity of the documents Wednesday. “We did not make this document public,” spokesman John Kirby told reporters.
…
“The United States has gone the extra mile to find a diplomatic solution,” Kirby added. “And if Russia actually wants to negotiate a solution, as it claims it does, this document certainly makes clear that there is a path forward to do so.”
The US has gone the extra mile? Yeah—you bet they have. That’s diplomatic speak for “has desperately cooked up concessions.” But why should Russia be in a hurry? If the US is offering concessions in the first exchange of written notes, why not hold out for more?
The proposal includes discussions about Russia verifying that the US has not deployed Tomahawk cruise missiles to bases in Romania and Poland, contingent upon agreement from those countries. Russia would also have to provide similar information about bases with ground-launched weapon systems.
This news also makes the leaders of Romania and Poland look rather foolish for accepting a handful of US troops. Maybe Hungary’s Orban—who the US begged to accept US troops for show purposes—understands what’s going on. The Globalist Elites, including our DC Rulers, have repeatedly dissed Orban for upholding normal human nature:
…
It appears the White House has received its answer from the 'wayward' NATO-member ally, as Viktor Orban was in Moscow on Tuesday where he met with Russian President Vladimir Putin. They greeted each other as old friends and settled in for a marathon meeting, which the Kremlin said lasted nearly five hours.
Breaking with the Western alliance's security concerns at this crucial time of a Russian troop build up near Ukraine, Orbán unapologetically said, "I would like to establish during these talks that in this difficult period with energy price hikes, we can enlarge the natural gas quantity that has been agreed in Russian-Hungarian relations."
In your face, Zhou! What have you done for me lately? I wonder whether Germany is criticizing Orban? Germany has refused to send German weapons to Ukraine.
Even Ukraine’s Zelensky seems to get it:
Putin Says US Trying To Goad Russia Into War As Ukraine Ready For Talks "In Any Format"
Read the last part carefully—Ukraine realizes that they’re going to have to look out for their own interests themselves. Relying on Globalists and Neocons is a fool’s game:
Meanwhile, Kiev has continued to press for a diplomatic resolution, and for Moscow to withdraw it's force build-up from near the border...
"Ukraine is ready to negotiate with Russia in any format to look for a diplomatic solution to a military conflict between our countries that has lasted for eight years already," the foreign minister said during a press conference for foreign media that was broadcast on Facebook.
Among fears expressed by the Zelensky government is that Western powers would negotiate Ukraine's fate directly with Russia but without significant Ukrainian input. The Ukrainians have long worried about being sidelined as broader NATO-Russia issues are hashed out.
Now, how is Russia responding to all these overtures from the US and NATO? About how you’d expect a guy who knows he holds a winning hand would respond:
Russia Is Prepared To Declare Economic War On The West, Inflicting "Huge Economic Pain"
This is where the Neocons with all their “End of History” nonsense have landed us. We made no real provision for the future, and then when we had a president who was looking to a future we staged a coup. Don’t expect anyone to feel sorry for the US—we’ll have to sort our problems out on our own.
And then there’s this:
As Biden warmongers with Russia over Ukraine, the geopolitical risk premium rises and lifts crude prices (to 7 year highs) and wholesale gasoline prices.
All of which means within a week or two, gas prices at the pump are going to take out pre-Omicron highs.
Gas prices at the pump for this time of year have only been higher in 2012 and 2013... and even then it was only marginally higher. Given the chart above, we are well on our way to record seasonal prices...
Putin is in the the driver’s seat, thanks largely to our incompetent rulers.
Vladimir Putin and Viktor Orban are serious, intelligent, fearless men, unlike almost all of the leaders of western nations, Zhou being the most moronic of all.
Europe, like the 49ers, lost its mmentum😂
