Found this when I was curious about why Liz Truss is playing the Ukraine Card. From what I read, Ukraine seems to be perceived as a winner issue with the British Voters right now, or at least the establishment is going all out pushing the Ukraine Issue. My guess to run away from their awful handling of Covid, including partygate, the the Economic Downturn.

Re China sanctions, which country would you bet could better survive an all out economic war? The police state that has no compunction about harvesting organs from any political dissidents, or the one who bribes its citizens w govt checks, free cell phones, and license to riot? I'm thinking China can hold out a whole lot longer without exports to the US than we can do without those same goods.
Hmmm...now why might the UK want to get sanctions slapped onto China? Might one reason be that the US is even more dependent upon Chinese imports than the UK/EU are dependent upon Russian imports? Might that put the Americans is a suitably desperate frame of mind where the UK could maneuver us into a full on war, one that would devastate the US and leave Britain and EU to pick up the pieces?
