We are all familiar with the expression "You can't fight City Hall". It is equally true, if not often recognized, that City Hall cannot fight us. They can command, they can even to a certain extent enforce, but they ultimately, if they are intelligent, rely on persuasion and mutual respect. Ignore this, and they are likely to provoke passive resistance in the law-abiding majority, or, as Bartleby the Scrivener put it; "I prefer not to." The massive resistance now going on in New York City to the mandates, even putting ones employment on the line, underlines this. Hordes of essential workers simply will not comply. This is the future of America. Think of this as we enter 'the winter of our discontent', with inflation, shortages and a likely crash of the markets and the main street economy. The Washington establishment may indeed have found a way to perpetuate their power. For those outside the beltway, they and the media will become increasingly irrelevant.

It's the Great Reset. We are in a war and we don't even know it. Any of us conservatives or deplorables or patriots, or nativists or traditionalists or MAGA , we are all the same to them. We are obstacles to the Great Reset. They will threaten, cajole, bribe, silence, castigate, isolate, humiliate, kill - whatever they have to do to remove the obstacle. That they are yet bothering to remove us means we are at the very least still in their way.

I think the incompetence theory is no longer credible. These people know full well that they are destroying our country. That's exactly what they intend. Tucker is being too charitable.

Mark--you write about how flabbergasted you are that parents were oblivious to what was going on in the schools. To an extent, the disconnect is a disconcerting change from our history. When I grew up and was in school, my parents cared a lot about the topic, even moving to a new city in order for their kids to attend better schools.

That said, the lies and gaslighting have gone on for so long, that parents just trusted what teachers and unions told them about schools. I have more hope than you that this could very well be a moment of great awakening for parents of school aged children. The regime's reaction to this awakening (DOJ sending the FBI after parents) tells you just how afraid they are about a preference cascade developing in opposition to them.

Two parent households with one parent being a caregiver is a vanishing reality in our country. This has led to parents' lives being busy to the point that accepting lies about what is going on in their schools was the easy way out. The reality of what the schools have been doing is being exposed, and it is shocking many parents. This shock is quickly leading to anger. Concerns about schools will double down on state/local GOP gains this election cycle.

WRT the military, I'm curious how recruiting numbers are looking in 2021. My searches are not turning up any recent data and I haven't seen any alarm bells being sounded by any of the services. With patriotism falling out of favor with this administration, just how many Red state youth are willing to sign up for what we are witnessing; from the Afghanistan debacle, apparently clueless and traitorous generals, mandatory vaccine injections, and Red state economies recovering much more quickly than the dictatorial Blue states. Then there is the fact that confidence in the military - at least its leadership - is at what must be an all time low like many of the other federal agencies that have proven to be enemies of the people.

How ironic when Biden came from those white blue collar roots. Prides himself on being Joe from Scranton. Hardworking people who don’t understand the mandarins and their edicts…. But deep inside Joe wanted to be a mandarin. And his primary handler Jill’s climber attitude is transparently obvious.

The Dems lost those blue collar people when mandarin wannabe Hillary threatened to close the coal mines and others kept up the beat. Joe the Plumber stood up for that growing demographic group. Donald Trump saw the idiocy in Hillary’s campaign promise and trumpeted it far and wide.

They will find out that they cannot win by stomping on those who are the heart and soul of our great country.
