If the Azeris get the corridor to and from Nakhichevan that they wish for, the Turkic World—as Ankara sees it—suddenly becomes contiguous. OK, The Caspian Sea is still there but the international water is less of a barrier than another country would be. Gluing together the so-called Turkic World is an Ankara wet dream.
