But rumours of Marco Rubio as SoS???

Some things never change.

For now rumors are a dime a dozen. There were rumors of Pompeo and Haley. For key spots I have to believe that Trump has had very short lists for months.

How about Devin Nunes for either AG or FBI director?

Should be a vacancy. Seeing rumors Wray will resign before inauguration. Two key positions that have to be addressed with a lot of thought. Must have strong person on top--head screwed on right but with real management skills and energy.

Josh Hawley from my state, Missouri, is backing Cornyn. Disappointing.

Hawley freely admits the endorsement is payback for Cornyn funding Hawley’s reelection campaign. Quid pro quo.

No, Cass Cornyn is pro war, not a neocon. Neocons are Zionist progressives who chose conservatism as a cover for their liberal domestic policy preference and a strong military to protect Israel through US hegemony.

Sadly, Hawley appears to have no principled positions on FP. He appears to me to take positions based on domestic political advantage--as he sees it. He was a prominent China hawk for a while.

Of course, this doesn't make him different than most senators, but he's smarter than most senators, which is why I find this so disappointing. He has more talent that to be JUST trying to game public opinion.

He is not acting like the forceful free spirit that he has presented himself to be. No, he is acting like the rest of the RINOs that puff smoke but fizzle out. So he is a money for favors guy. What a disappointment.

Honestly, I don't know. There's something about him that makes me not trust him.

I'm turned off by politicians who are climbing up the ladder. He went from MO AG to a senator very quickly.

It's sort of funny that Nancy Pelosi is chiding Biden for not stepping aside gracefully when she just ran for her 20th straight term in Congress at age 84

Hypocrisy knows no bounds among the political class. It’s especially embedded in a creature like Pelosi.

I still think that whole event with that "strange man" coming in their house in SF was highly irregular. Where was her "round the clock" security? He gets life in prison while others who do worse get out.

The number of raw votes received by Trump in the Bronx, NYC, increased by at least 142% compared to 2016. In Queens, a 66% increase. In Manhattan, a 59% increase. In Brooklyn, a 56% increase. In Staten Island, a 23% increase

He gave himself away as a troll when he said the same people complaining about high grocery prices are also complaining about trouble finding "help". Trump's support was heavily skewed to the working class who don't have "help" and Dem support was heavily skewed to the people who can afford "help".

IMO, that's one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind.

For any who might have missed this:

"Trump told Rogan the “biggest mistake” of his 2017-21 presidency was 'I picked a few people I shouldn’t have picked".

“Neocons or bad people or disloyal people,” he told Rogan, referring to neoconservatives, policy-makers who champion an interventionist US foreign policy."
