You'reI the first blogger to mention the obvious precedent with the school desegregation enforcement in Arkansas many years ago. Yes, there is precedent for this and it's all likely legal. Sadly, I think this is just the trigger issue to begin enforcement/police actions against a variety of anticipated protests in the near future. This is how police states are formed.
Yeah, there's a fine line that Trump needs to tread. These issues are best settled through elections and defunding. These riots are astro turfed, not truly grass root. Their funding comes largely from the federal government. The political difficulty is rooted in culture.
With Trump being one divisive figure that has ever become president, the divisions that' have been there and brewing for years in the US are now coming to the surface.. The American people, from top to bottom seem oblivious to the fact that they've had a civil war once before..
It's interesting to consider that the greatest wave of immigration to America came *after* the Civil War--or, at least, the wave that formed America into what it is for now. The waves of immigration since Dem immigration "reform" in 1965 may change all that. At any rate, what's interesting is that some of those immigrants brought their own civil wars with them that were integrated into American politics.
"Russian President Vladimir Putin's statements about the Kiev regime being a terrorist organization are not aimed at Vladimir Zelensky, but rather the United States, Great Britain and other countries, said former Ukrainian Prime Minister (2010-2014) Nikolay Azarov."
What brought it to mind was the Democratic Party now acting not like but as terrorists in California and likely elsewhere again very soon. Trump should adopt Putin's approach and talking points.
Chuck Schumer in 1996: "The number one reason people come to the US illegally is to defraud systems like social security and I want to stop it" Who is this Chuck Schumer?
President George H. W. Bush called in the National Guard, Army and Marines to stop the riots after the Rodney King verdict. That looks like the most comparable precedent with President Trump calling in the National Guard and Marines to end this riot.
MTG is complaining that another resolution condemning antisemitism was voted on in the House today, making it #21 by her recollection. No time to vote on the minuscule DOGE cuts though.
Eunisses Hernandez Is super far left, and won due to racism charges against her opponent, that was recorded during a meeting at a union location. My guess a political hit job that worked beautifully.
It sounds like Trump is only defending federal facilities, while allowing the la and Democratic elites to discredit themselves allowing riots in the rest of LA.
All the Democratic governors signed a letter against the national guard deployment.
Supposedly 700 marines from Pendleton are being deployed. About 90 miles away. No idea if by helicopter or truck. It’s a 2-3 hour drive in rush hour. Joining the 2100 National guard already there.

“Then Trump showed up”. Question is who follows this lead?
OT but I thought this was quite notable:

It makes sense. The Anglo-Zionists are now definitively viewed as enabling terror ops against Russia.

So people against genocide and sniping children are "extreme elements" on campus??
Right. And Turley poses as a defender of free speech, while promoting rooting out thought crimes.

The Dems are doubling down on dumb on this one. The optics are terrible for them.
Sounds like an interesting--not really unexpected--strategy.
