We are witnessing / living through what is known as a "Color Revolution" on our own soil. The CIA /Deep State does this in foreign countries to overthrow Governments and install U.S. puppet regimes. These are effective and usually work. The Government to be overthrown is replaced in the next election (the Congress in 2026 and President thereafter) or a civil war ensues. Any means necessary.

If it is not met with overwhelming force including arrests, persuing the funding/ money and traitors within, it will most likely work.

The LA Trump / insurrection narrative was planned by the Trump Administration. He baited the leftists in a huge media market that could not be ignored.

Guesses:

- Trump learned from DC Park Debacle at Lafayette Park, St. John’s church, that was successfully pushed as a photo op. and as peaceful protests.

- Trump learned from the Portland Federal Courthouse Antifa battles. Nightly attacks were allowed, and the rioters even got a settlement from the city.

- The Federalizing of the national guard was planned. It’s something that has not been done in 60 years.

- The Trump Administration has wargamed out this entire immigration narrative baiting and laying traps for the Democrats and msm. From Maryland Man who has become Tn man, to the LA Riots. There is a plan driving the Trump immigration actions, and it’s being beautifully executed and the current polling shows that.

By taking the bait they almost certainly did Trump a big favor--reminding the rest of the country why they elected Trump. Because he's not them.

Let's hope he stays disciplined and follows through. It's no good just having Blondie and Patel grandstanding about "arresting 100s of rioters"; Trump has to finish the job once and for all and destroy the NGOs and shadowy backers of these insurrections. Soros Pere et Fils would be a great place to start.

You know the polling is bad when the Red LA Mayor Bass, finally implements a curfew in the LA downtown, and allows the lapd to do arrests.

The Left lives in an alternate world. It's like a fun house or something. To wit, we were in Davenport, IA yesterday. I am a fan of old architecture and I saw a man leaving a nice garden apartment. I asked him if he lived there. He said he didn't. On his shirt he had a "Punch a Nazi" slogan. I steered clear of any political discussion.

The mainstream press lies without a hint of remorse for its shameful behavior. A one-day event on January 6 is an insurrection. Multiple days or weeks of riots are peaceful protests.

I find myself with the 39% who want the rioting to continue. Democrats should feel the results of burning cars, no food and fear of the street gangs. Let it burn until it's 90% in favor of restoring order. The thugs should venture into the rich, liberal suburbs. Share the wealth.

There is a lot to commend that opinion. It is of a piece with my desire in 2016 to vote for Hilliary. Let's speed up the decline so we can get to the revolution part quicker. I finally thought Trump had a chance, so voted accordingly. But, it is always a struggle between break things faster and restore what we once had.

Unless, of course, you live in one of those cities and your home and life are under threat. I get the idea and some innocents will/have to suffer. We're now at that point, no?

Maybe someone should whisper the words "Rooftop Koreans" in their ears. People need to man up.

Sometime around '93 or '94 there was a ska-punk band called the Rooftop Koreans who used to play gigs at this dive club on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. Made up of pudgy Korean-Americans who looked like they were getting their MBAs at night when not raging against The System, they were awesome in their own hilarious way. ;-)

Joel Kotkin had a troubling quote:

“ In a friend of my wife’s neighbourhood, close to where we once lived, homeless people loiter in supermarkets and eat in the aisles. ”

Imho - A bit of TDS, but I guess he needs to include it so he is not seen as a Trump supporter and shunned. I disagree with His point of poorly paid legal workers, with the entire minimum wage fiasco. He ignores lapd issues. And utility costs, ca is now #2 behind Hawaii. And the homeless industrial complex.

Joel Kotkin is a leftist. He seams like a centrist often in his views, but you are 100% correct he never misses a chance to take a shot at Trump. For some reason the vast majority of Jews despise this guy, why? Kotkin also takes a lot of pot shots at the right. He bores me to tears at times. I seldom read him anymore.
