The Hunt for Red Florida! LOL. If you liked the movie Hunt For Red October, you weren't a submariner. When the CIA analyst detached from the helo into the sea alongside the USS Dallas in at least a sea state 5, he would have been hamburger from contacting the hull by the time he was pulled topside - of course if the Dallas CO even allowed anyone topside in those conditions. But movies form the fabric of what the uninformed believe is truth...

My brother served on The Dallas. He thought The Hunt for Red October was nothing more than entertainment, similar to Maverick Top Gun. We pretend we’re the good guys in the movies.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, these folks are in a class all by themselves when it comes to stupidity and a complete inability to grasp the painfully obvious. US prestige is in the toilet and they don’t see it! Russia and its economy and ability to sustain the SMO is NOT in the toilet and they don’t see it! Threats seem particularly foolish when you can’t back them up in real time and they don’t see it! Russian’s threats are NOT foolish because they can back them up in real time and still these clowns don’t see it. The money tree is about to be struck a far reaching blow that will permanently curtail the neocons ability to engage in endless intimidating SMO’s-which in this instance means Stupid Military Operations, of which the current proxy war in Ukraine is a prime example, and they don’t see it!

This relentless march into folly, with apologies to Barbara Tuchman, cannot end well and the collective West will pay a horrible price and particularly the US, and they still won’t see it.

Speaking of the “march of folly” and the “money tree,” a family member lives in a wealthy SoCal enclave, 50-something, jovial and stem-smart (degrees from Cal and Stanford, long career in…pharma), born and raised in Chicago and Evanston. Well. He sent his two beautiful daughters to a molto pricey private K-12 academy and of course they were vaxxed (choice or mandate of the school - I forget). Point being: The eldest, already afflicted with T1D from, suspects the genial father, the HPV vaccine, with straight A’s, lab internship, singing in school musicals, was just accepted at one, only one, UC…Santa Cruz. College admissions, autrement dit, the new racialist bureaucracy, strikes again. So the eldest is headed back to a big mid-western university instead (where a giant culture shock awaits her). But the parents “don’t see!” They voted for Baidan. So boy, look what a mess they’re in now! Terrible.

Difficult for me to fathom. I know these people are out there in relatively large numbers, but I can't grasp the shallowness of the mentality.

I'm sure you understand the problem with this, which is: How many Americans understand that? If Americans understood what's been going for the past 3 decades they'd rise up in revolt at what we're doing now. Instead, we've been tearing our country's social fabric apart.

If only this had been covered on TikTock or by the Kardasian’s, I’m sure Americans would rise up in revolt.

And the modern day opium war against the US is being ignored:

And Victor Davis Hanson has a great article explaining Silicon Valley Moral Bankruptcy:

And a question to ponder, why the huge mobilization against Trump? Why was/is he perceived as such a huge threat?

Fear of loss of power, control, and influence of yours and my “Rules based order”. We must abide by this Ray even on domestic soil. As Greta says “how dare you”.

I don’t know Ray, I think we’re flogging a dead horse waiting on average Americans to wake up! The more I listen to people the more depressing it gets.

I’m beginning to develop a whole new perspective on how Nazi Germany came about:-(

We’re all in the Matrix you know.

It’s very easy to get depressed, especially with me being near LA. Unfortunately I’m stuck here due to family obligations. I have family buried in Compton which shows my Ca roots, which just had looting at a gas station.

My view is it is, what it is.

I focus on what I can do, but I try to be aware of reality and I try not going to sugar coat the situation.

I probably spend way too much time trying to understand what is really going on, and this blog helps a lot. I wish I had been less trusting on the jab, but better late than never. Politics has always been a hobby, but I now I feel like the hero in “they live”
