It just proves that Jake Sullivan was and is, an untrustworthy creep with no integrity whatsoever and do not trust anything he says. BTW did he ever apologize or retract his remarks concerning this so called "Russian server"?? Of course not.

Because what we know now is..... what Trump really had was a Palantir and he had direct contact with Gollum and Saruman. :)

I agree that permanent harm to the country will continue as long as people like McConnell and Barr exist. I see them as part of "permanent government" rather than "Never Trumpers" which was a term that began in 2015 particularly among "professional Republicans" especially those on television. And who could forget the glittering National Review cover in Jan. 2016 entitled, "Against Trump." The 22 names who did pieces for the article were: Glenn Beck, David Boaz, L. Brent Bozell III, Mona Charen, Ben Domenech, Erick Erickson, Steven F. Hayward, Mark Helprin, Wm Kristol, Yuval Levin, Dana Loesch, Andrew C. McCarthy, David M. McIntosh, Michael Medved, Edwin Meese III, Russell Moore, Michael B. Mukasey, Katie Pavlich, John Podhoretz, R. R. Reno, Thomas Sowell, and Cal Thomas.

Will Schryver @imetatronink

Now Israel is begging for another THAAD battery before they launch their super-duper Iran-crushing strike.

Interpretation: they KNOW they can't disarm the Iranians with a single strike — not even if the US joins the fray with all its available might.

The Israelis are scared.

You wrote that the Houthis remain unimpressed with the B 2s and the giant bombs that flew in all the way from Missouri. I have not read about or seen any photos, video of what the bombs wrought. Do you have any further information, Mark?

What I meant is that they haven't changed their behavior.

Which means that the special delivery bombs did nothing to deter them from their mission...as evidenced by their drones set upon the Spanish cargo vessel.

Yes. And if any one knows...a follow up......did those aircraft go back to Missouri or did they stay in Theater (like Diego Garcia) for future operations against Iran????!!

The timing of using this asset, in this Theater, is suspicious at best. My guess is that they had a follow on flight, and it was not back to the USA.

Beyond my pay grade, however ...

Will Schryver @imetatronink

I don't believe this strike on relatively defenseless Yemen burnished US deterrence in the least.

The 3+ B-2s that flew the intercontinental mission will now require many weeks of maintenance to be made combat-worthy again.

And they expended ~10% of the GBU-57 bomb stockpile.

Good points. The $2 billion bombers are delicate creatures. Recovery, fuel, and maintenance swell with the aircrafts' affluent status.

I wonder what those 30,000 lb. bombs' purchase price is in 2024.

I believe he has a point here. Unless US/Israel can take out all Iranian capability in one massive strike--which I don't believe can happen--then Iran will be able to deny access.

Will Schryver @imetatronink

It will come down to which side of the military / geostrategic equation possesses greater power projection capability in the context of the battle that will ensue.

I expect Iranian A2/AD capabilities will prove superior to the corresponding A2/AD capabilities of the US/Israel.

So what if those anti-war votes in blue states are critical and do swing them away from Harris? Could Trump do anything to stop the genocide? Would he?
