The picture is getting clearer and clearer.

Ban gas ovens and boilers, force through electric cars and heat pumps but limit nuclear.

Control gas and oil supply and so control their price.

The cost of living in Western previously industrialized nations is going to get even worse. We are being gouged.

In the words of the immortal Great Mogambu Guru, we’re freaking doomed.

"Control energy, you control development…control development you control competition."

The problem is that, with LNG, you do not control energy. You only control a type of energy, the non-competitive energy. For that reason, you will not "control" anything.

Developing nations have always been held back because they have not been able to harness competitive energy sources in any significant quantities. Now that is changing, and they will have cheap energy available, while some regions (Europe) are restricted to the use of expensive energy. Europe will not be able to compete in the industrial world, and the U.S. will not come to their rescue.

We see already the effects that will be magnified 10x in the future: The West cannot produce conventional weapons on an industrial scale, while Eurasia does so without significant problems.

Game over, although the West does not recognize that reality yet.

As an afterthought, the U.S. believes in "reindustrialization" by forcing EU industry to relocate to North America. However, they will run up against the environmentalists, and will be unable to produce at an industrial scale like in the (distant) past.

The U.S. politicians have great dreams that will not bear fruit. The West will control a "barren land."

I fear that the Western politicians will opt for the nuclear option (a lunatic senator is pushing this already). Read "A Canticle for Leibowitz by Walter M. Miller."

You are correct. The biggest problem for the West is how they elevated the climate hoax into a religious belief which always engenders zealotry in the believers. The climate hoax will ensure the fall of the USA and the West. Education has been the key to the dissemination of misinformation and propaganda and they have been pounding this lie into the minds of children for decades. Environmental policies are the deterrents to any project that would create opportunities for the entrepreneurs , jobs for citizens, and a better standard of living for all.

Good article Mark.

Sometime in 2012-13 I was in talk with Halluburton to relocate to Poland and be involved in drilling ops for natural gas in east Poland, East Slovakia and west Ukraine. The Ukraine natural deposits were the biggest out of the three countries. The position was based in Warsaw and I didn’t want to stay there, I was negotiating for Krakow. I don’t think they ever completed or even started those drilling ops after I turned it down. Instead I went to Australia and drilled in Papua New Guinea.

About Fico;

I’m not sure who but some political or just citizen group was planning to have “gathering” on Tuesday on front of the hospital where Fico currently is. The plan was just to show up, pay respect and bring flowers etc. For security reasons the interior minister canceled it, got info about possibilities of agitators/violence - wouldn’t be surprised (Jan6)

People online are writing that they are coming anyway, let’s see what will happen.

It’s always the ‘lone gunman’, like McKinley‘s assassin there is always a handler.

Let's hope Fico, a brave man, survives. Let's hope too that this hardens the resolve of all those resisting the Evil Empire.
