Well. I, too, hope Justice Roberts understands what the activist judges are trying to do. However, I remain unconvinced of his conservative credentials. He is not consistent in his positions.

Inconsistent is one way to put it. I think he is reactive to the potential for flak so he is malleable in his opinions. His inconsistency reads to me like he lacks the courage to buck the pressure. Republicans may be disappointed in a decision, but they generally don't threaten your life like Democrats do.

He's cautious, and an incrementalist, in my opinion. He oftentimes disappoints me, but sometimes he is quietly laying the groundwork to get to where I want him to go, just not at my pace.

There is something to be said for his attempting to preserve the legitimacy of the court's reputation. I'm not saying I totally agree with him, just trying to explain his modus operandi.

I completely agree. My comment was weak. I’ll try to do better 😊

No, not weak, just honest.

I suspect Elon and Trump have enough on Robert’s to keep him compliant to MAGA. Wouldn’t surprise me if he was on Epsteins flight log.

Just a guess. I’ve heard both he and Pence like little boys and there is video to prove it. We’ll see. Bondi is about to release the Epstein client list.

Regarding Roberts being on the Epstein flight log:

1. The name John Roberts has to be the second most common in the English language after John Smith.

2. CJ Roberts was literally hearing oral arguments while “John Roberts” was onboard the Lolita Express.

Perfect. Let's move forward with a legitimate DOJ probe into the burial of John Durham's assigned investigation into the origins of the all-inclusive Russia Hoax against Pres. 45. Bill Barr gave that assignment---is the current DOJ Inspector General the same man who massaged the blatent FBI agent managers and DOJ managing executives of the absolute blackness of their harmful deeds? Perhaps that Inspector General would step aside and let Durham show and tell, for real. Mary McCord is a criminal thorn in the side of every deep state paricipant in these law enforcement agencies, but also the Intelligence Community agencies (all 17 of them), plus the Congress Members with whom she worked on both Trump impeachments, the J6 Inquisition, and every possible Supreme Court case consideration that would affect President Trump's personal ability to act as Chief Executive of the U.S.A. as well as his policy directives---because Mary McCord is married to John Robert's Chief Counsel. Although I don't know her political party registration, she was instrumental in steering the 2016 examination of the DNC data breach away from honest investigative truth-telling. She's got her fingers in so many spoils that she may be the "bolt" on the core/hub of the wheel of "capitol lawfare" planned executions. Who can dismantle her, who isn't a player in the shenannigans of the swamp alongside her?

It is good that you and Shipwrecked Crew, Monica Showalter, and lots of other analysts who unravel the news + background information complexities, are continuing to name the "next step actions" that should be taken in order to commence correcting the crimes and errors. The more that restorative solutions are talked about publicly, the more the general public will think about solving the problems of corruption and contribute to good outcomes by their own follow-through actions and speech. It would lessen anxiety, too.

What?!? That’s big (disturbing) news to me.

Off topic.

2. Bezos won't allow WaPo to endorse Harris.

3. Sen Chris Murphy declares senators will regret on their death beds voting to confirm Kash.

4. Zuckerberg kisses up to Trump after Trump election win.

5. Stacey Abrams, David French, William Kristol and others are revealed to have benefited from Biden Bucks.

6. Trump, Musk, Vought and Kash are hot on the trail of largesse over last 20 years.

7. Media in panic.

Something tells me we're going to see lots of revelations about our government. I won't be surprised if indictments follow. I also won't be surprised if Trump declines prosecutions for a full confession, return of money and turning in the higher ups.

Pam Bondi is in a position to write her name into the history books. She has a long sword in her hand and can swing it in a wide arc with lethal impact if she so chooses. If you really want to bury the Deep State once and for all, that is the only battleground that matters. I would venture a guess that a majority of Congress is at risk of a felony conviction if faithfully investigated. Nothing deters white collar crime like a decade or more in a Federal Penitentiary.

Maybe I’m just too old and set in my ways, but after the Obama Care fiasco, I don’t trust John Roberts as far as I can throw him. I understand what you’re saying about Roberts and federalism, and granted he has made some rulings that support that position, but his abhorrence of having any rulings the SCOTUS makes appearing as being politically motivated

seems almost a bridge too far in this situation. If the Robert’s court does decide in favor of Trump’s use of Executive Power, Shummer, Schiff and rest of the Dems will immediately start excoriating the decision as the result of activist jurisprudence and 100% politically motivated. They’ll redouble their efforts to pack the Supreme Court and drag out the shibboleth, “It’s a threat to our democracy and must be stopped”, coupled with the ominous threat of an “unprecedented Constitutional Crisis” brought on by DJT and his intimidation of the SCOTUS. I’m just not as convinced as you Mark that Roberts is up to standing in the breach and quite frankly I’m more than a little concerned over what might happen if he punts. Having said all this, I’m more than willing to be proven wrong.

Whatever happens will definitely be historic.

The democrats are so deranged that they can’t see the forest for the trees.

If they want to fight Elon they should stop the nonsense and attack the real threat of AI and data centers, the cloud of everything, corporate welfare. Like why does the richest man in the world need corporate welfare.

But, they more worried about uncovering fraud, illegal immigration, Racism, fascism, LGBTG, and DEI.

People tired of it all. Democrats have become a drag.

The left have forgotten Rules For Radicals number 6 & 7

"A good tactic is one your people enjoy."

"A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag."
