Of course the Russian terms will be rejected. If Russia thought there was any chance they would be accepted they would have added onerous ones to guarantee rejection. IMO they wan to finish this to their complete satisfaction but not without Odessa.
Clear an reasonable terms. Is anyone out there sane enough to accept them? Doubt it, but the recent drone attacks speak volumes as to why Russia will not accept a weaponized Ukraine on its very borders. Can't we just skip WWIII and get on with making a safer and more prosperous world?
I just read and then re-read the Russian proposals to stop the conflict in Ukraine which were handed to presumed " moderators " in Istanbul.
I would be hard pressed to disagree with any one of the itemized submissions , but on the other hand , it has been many years since I worked in the City of London !
I generally agree. One caveat, without having heard the entire video. M downplays the attack on the basis that it will not have been effective in changing Russia's war plans. My argument is that, of course, the intent was to be far more destructive than ended up being the case and that the true significance is in the conceptual intent of the attack--including the betrayal of the aims of the START treaty--as outlined in the first post. I certainly agree with M that the US was fully involved. I also agree that Russia won't be fooled into thinking NATO intends an imminent war with Russia. One is left with the delusional notion that this will somehow force Russia to give up, as stated in the NYPost editorial. That, too, is disturbing, since it probably reflects government sources.
Just finished the video. Again, I largely agree with M's take. Where I agree with Crooke--a long time professional intel operative and diplomat--over M is that I believe the significance lies in the conceptual background to the attack, which completely destroys any basis for trust on the part of the Russians for Trump. On more particular matters I mostly agreed and I especially enjoyed his concluding point about Brit addiction to these types f ops. However, there again, while I fully agree that the Brits have been major players in these "sabotage" type ops--recall that I used that same word "sabotage"--CIA remains in overall control.
Yes. Mercurious, to my recall, did not even mention the betrayal of the START treaty.
I hadn't even thought of that aspect, until your excellent article this morning.
I would imagine to the legalistic President Putin this action by Trump is unforgivable.
As to the Brits and their flair for theatrical sabotage etc, it's no surprise, Ian Fleming gave the world James Bond😉
I have a question for our British commentators? How much, if any of these operations and grandiose "plans" does HM King Charles have eyes on, or is privy to?
I honestly don't think any of the royals with the exception of the late queen's Greek husband were really 'the type'. They are a bunch of useless articles. These people (including the Third Charlie) might be fully subscribed to the global weirdness projects and adore their masonic titles and regalia, but they are lazy, incompetent loafers. Anne, Edward and William seem a bit more focused than Charles, Andrew and Harry though. We'll have to see about William, but his dad is probably just an amenable bauble to the slithering ones. That's my intuition.
And in other news: "During the last week of May the Russian forces took 18 settlements and over 200 square kilometer. During the last 24 hours at least another 3 settlements have changed hands. The Ukrainian army is no longer capable to hold its defense lines. Its situation is deteriorating day by day." https://www.moonofalabama.org/
I wonder how hard it would be to stage a ‘container’ drone attack on a nuclear power plant’s cooling system? The world just got a lot scarier.

Agree. If he did Linsdey would probably start impeachment proceedings.
Section 5, point 3 will NEVER fly with the Deep State or the war hawks in the EU
Looks like a better basis for a peace treaty then say the armistice of WWI

No surprise there!
Was just going to post this ZH piece, which provides a reprint (top third of article) of Russia's peace-proposal terms for today's meeting:

Mercouris writes it off to the Brit addiction to James Bondish special ops.
idiot free zone
Lol why won’t they recognize that we have defeated them! Everyone says they lost!
Oh boy. You've drunk the MSM kool-aid.
