Of course, Russia can retaliate by supplying weapons systems to other countries, too.

Trump needs to respond in person, because Joe's approval of this sets the game. After this, it will be hard to refocus an effort toward peace. Why? Because it all depends if and when the Ukies start to use this new capability. Once it is used, and if the Russians declare war, ......the game is set........

It will be hard to stop once it starts. Of course this is part of the Deep State MIC's "defense effort" against trump. here are 2 elemets (a &b)

a. Financially , Black rock , JP Morgan.. et al ,...stand to loose millions, if not billions of dollars if the Ukies fail. Did you see that JP Morgan just brought on former Gen Milley as an "advisor". They did not do that to glean his expertise in loan applications. They will use him as such:

1. To provide support for the war effort and having him saying trump is weak, trump's plans are flawed, trump is a Putin stooge....we must support Ukraine etc....

2. He is connected with the Ukie Government and he will help JP Blackrock get lots of USG and Ukie contracts.

3. He will have inside information and this will help with the JP MorBlack risk analysis.

b. Also DoD internal deep state probably wants a conflict too....They can say that Trump is weakening our security by trying to purged "experienced" generals and reforming the Defense department. Yes, they have stalled up until now, but that may now end since they see their rice bowl is in danger by trump.

So many rabbit trails and possibilities for out comes here. Each day new information may bring some clarity to this current situation of possible war. Truthfully, it would be best if the Russians launched a major offensive and just ended this thing as soon as possible. That way the issue would be settled and further provocative action would be 'HOPEFULLY" be negligible, if not useless.

Doubt if that is going to happen.

It'll be very interesting to see how Trump responds. Will he respond in person? Will he use a proxy, like Elon? It seems to me that this may offer a political opportunity--all polling shows the Ukraine war is unpopular, including with Trump's new supporters (Blacks, Hispanics, Asians, etc.). Obviously the Dems think they've cornered Trump and will claim he's Putin's poodle, but I think they're miscalculating.

I agree. He may call Putin privately. I want him to assure Putin that the new administration won't press the war.

Maybe he can say on a hot mic, "Tell Vladimir after the election, I'll have more flexibility", ala Obama. I'm kidding about that!

In addition, the State Department announced the closing of two waterfront estates — one in Upper Brookville, N.Y., and another on Maryland’s Eastern Shore — that it said were used for Russian intelligence activities, although officials declined to say whether they were specifically used in the election-related hacks.

Taken together, the sweeping actions announced by the White House, the Treasury, the State Department and intelligence agencies on Thursday amount to the strongest American response yet to a state-sponsored cyberattack. The smartest thing Trump can do is bail out of both wars now

Both are Not Winnable

Right now Trump can say, we have anaylyzed what Biden did and it was

insane and stupid and corrupt and cannot continue

regardless of losses

No Face To Save

The moment he takes it on the minute he moves forward

he owns the inevitable losses both wars and face

Thank you for writing this article and the previous article of today, 17th, Sunday. I watched the video of RFK Jr.'s explanation of everything. Didn't know that BlackRock owned Pfizer and Moderna, but I am aware of most of the other captured corporations. A side note: Hakeem Jeffries (sp.?) spoke to reporters, this passing week, about what's next for Democrats in the coming months. Finally, I could understand the verbal obfuscation of this, and all politicians' claims for helping the underserved in America---Jeffries named improving opportunities for home ownership and affordable housing in general, the opportunity for jobs, blah blah....Not once did Jeffries tell the reporters that his Party plays the BlackRock Finance Game of Global Orchestrated monetary policies....Weeks ago, Tom Luongo said on a podcast that it was Christine Lagard, herself---current felon and president of IMF, I think---who gave the order to Vlodimir Zelensky to start the Ukraine war in the Donbas region, against Russia. This finance person gave a threatening order to a country's head of state, for hostilities to commence! Who would listen to her, but for all the dependency upon a globally stuctured monetary house of cards....

The senile old man has decided to create total chaos now that his party are out. Anyone who tells you the Democrats are “adults in the room” is a moron. This is the party of anarchy, brinkmanship, violence, destabilisation and destruction.

This is clearly an attempt to thwart Trump's plan to bring peace between Ukraine and Russia. How will or should he react. If we know Trump he will see this decision for what it is, a last blow from the sour losers against him. He will probably be very upset but can't take direct action until January 20th. But he can actually do something. Trump should give Zelensky a call, and tell him that if he uses this opportunity to hurt Trump, the new U.S.administration will treat him as an unfriendly actor and be much more accommodating to Russian positions in future negotiations.

Armchair Warlord

@ArmchairW

The sleeper story of this phase of the Ukrainian War has been Russia's ability to just keep a dozen or so Gerans buzzing around Ukraine's airspace on a more-or-less constant basis.

And there was a critical admission last week that the vast majority of them hit targets.

Russia flies off so many Gerans, so often, that it's not even a news item anymore. Hardly anyone even pays attention at this point and meanwhile they're hitting a thousand aimpoints a month in Ukraine's rear areas for about the cost of a midsize car each.

You want to talk about game-changers in 21st century war? Let's talk about democratized air campaigns with zero risk to pilots and expensive airframes, that can scale at the rate of manufacturing. The Russians adopted these things - the only foreign weapon they've taken on board in meaningful quantities, by the way - for a very, very good reason.

Pretty interesting comments on Elon Musk and Tesla's battery efforts by Robin Zeng, the founder of China's CATL (the world's largest battery company by far, and Tesla's foremost battery supplier): https://cnbc.com/2024/11/13/china-battery-giant-catl-would-build-us-plant-if-trump-allows-it.html…

He speaks with Musk often and said he told him directly that his bet on a cylindrical battery, known as the 4680, “is going to fail and never be successful.”

“We had a very big debate, and I showed him,” Zeng said. “He was silent. He doesn’t know how to make a battery. It’s about electrochemistry. He’s good for the chips, the software, the hardware, the mechanical things.”

Zeng said he had also asked Musk about setting unrealistic timelines for the rollout of new vehicles or technologies at Tesla. He said Musk had told him that he wanted to motivate and focus Tesla staffers and that anything beyond a two-year time frame might as well be “infinity.”

“His problem is overpromising. I talked to him. Maybe something needs five years. But he says two years. I definitely asked him why. He told me he wanted to push people.”
