Is hard to find legit other non ideology based reviews, thanks for sharing, is helpful to see others views esp when honest and maybe even hard to say/acknowledge against own interests. T and his team an absolute wrecking ball to norms and protocols and hidden tacks and so very much needed and eye popping. Got others?

RS - Childers today does good write up on this as well, like MW, he ties to the French and UK sending theirs, failing, and Z is almost their last ditch attempt to get the security guarant, etc. and whatever private ends they have - Luongo sh be a good listen tomorrow

Two points: 1. Quite honestly, the Oval Office scene did not make be proud to be American. USA started that war and put Z in that position. Lot of dishonesty on display, and the Alternative Media cheered.

2. MacGregor sent out an email, "Americans are tired of war . . . US should not go to war in Middle East . . . Take Action." Thanks, MacG, but what moral values say it's "good TV" to humiliate Z, the creature of US policy, while simultaneously adulating Bibi, who is carrying on even more criminal and illegal actions, with full approval and praise from same Oval Office Duo?

I think USA SHOULD go to war in Middle East, an air war to destroy Israel's entire air fleet to stop Israel's genocide.

I'll give Trump and Vance credit re yesterday. They didn't get into any of the pretend stuff. They flat out stated that all they were trying to do is save Ukraine from destruction. In a bigger way this demonstrates the serious problems we've run into with rule by Deep State and ignoring the Constitution--no declaration of war. We get into a major war and most of the population doesn't even know how it started.

MW - if I were a doctor and you showed me a patient with symptoms I could diagnose him - but I'm not, so would be all a mystery.

If I were a carpenter and you showed me a home with with structural issues I could make repairs, but I'm not, so I'm useless

If I were Nick Saban, I could assess the weakness of the other team to exploit and win, but I'm not, so...

to Trump and Vance, and esp if they were prepared for this 'deal,' all the little tells of Z about security or going it alone or about Putin breaking promises -- and many more -- were all tells to them that Z was trying to renegotiate the deal, in a big way; they couldn't not see it - to everyone else, is noise, etc - they knew were Z was headed and they weren't going to tolerate it. well played T and team, like most other moves they are making, they have a plan war-gamed out and are executing.

Mark Wauck's avatar

Correct. There was a fairly long buildup to the breaking point of the conversation. Z was trying to publicly renegotiate what had been agreed upon--yes, he had been pressured into it, but that was always the deal with the Anglo-Zionists, that Ukraine was merely a proxy. Trump and Vance did see it coming but were willing to tolerate his insolence--but only up to a point. Z went past that point.

Undoubtedly Z was acting in a rehearsed way (rehearsed by the Euro ruling class) as well as acting in character.

Tristam's avatar

OK guys. I & my peers were long ago taught to be 'humble in victory, gracious in defeat.'

You make good points. I concede.

BUT on follow-up essay, "Follow up on the Anglo-Zionist Meltdown," I have to insist: **Zionist** has not yet been dealt with adequately, equitably, or justly.

It's great that the Ukraine matter is in hand.

But not only is Middle East-Gaza still in flames, **zionists** in USA are well-funded, organized, and moving from strength to strength.

To the extent that the Z smack-down lionizes Trump-Vance, it may make it even more difficult for MacGregor to realize the message he emailed to OCOC today.

No definitive answer, because Trump doesn't just lay things out in public. However, Bannon speaking to Michael Tracy in two interviews--not long--is optimistic re Trump's intent in Middle East. Links toward bottom.

https://www.mtracey.net/p/lots-of-new-material-for-your-viewing

In fairness to Trump--and I have repeatedly expressed frustration with his rhetoric--the days when a POTUS could simply wave a wand (military magic) are over, and Trump, no matter his rhetoric, must operate within those constraints as well as political constraints. The political constraints are evolving, and my give him more freedom to operate in the future. We can only wait and see.

I don't think they cared. I think the Euro trash leadership wanted to embarrass Trump on the world stage and in front of a home audience. This gives the anti-Trump media and all the Democrats who are floundering a new meme they can press to their advantage, they think. I think this backfires and the euro's may have just sealed the fate of NATO and that's a good think as far as I am concerned.

What happened in the Oval Office today was catastrophic for the EU. Zelensky dethroned himself and ended all hope of a rescue by the US. That will tangibly impact AFU morale and sow the seeds of eventual collapse. But far more significantly, it ends all hope that the EU can somehow muddle through the looming financial crisis via a Hail Mary pass in Ukraine. Bluster and BS in regard to rearming will fall on deaf ears in Moscow, so the sledgehammer of reality must now be confronted. There will soon be a flight of wealth from the EU to safer havens and away from the Euro, which will trigger insolvency in numerous central banks on the Continent. No doubt MI6 has a few false-flag OPs waiting to be green-lighted in the hope of triggering a Hail Mary Hail Mary of some sort. Let's hope the adults can put a stop to that before things get out of hand.

And those same people will protect him, one way or another. He hit his marks and said his lines.

Something Zelensky repeated several times to Vance and President Trump in the short video I watched was, "You are going to feel influence." What does he mean by that? Who's influence are we going to feel, the Israel Lobby? On the issue of the rare earth resources, aren't the majority of these resources in Russian possession? Pres. Trump has said he will want this land back. How, what's the leverage for a return of territory Russia has secured?

Well, maybe don't count on the neocon/neolib cabal to be in perpetual power & don't involve yourself in trying to unseat an American president. Don't skim money from your patron. Boy, has he bet on the wrong horse. Interesting that Trump remarked he thought the American people deserved to see & hear this. At the end of the day, I'm getting the drift that both the Trump WH & the Kremlin have realized that if they allow the UK/UKR/EU to push us into war with each other, nobody wins...its just mass death and destruction...WWIII.
