Wow! This ties the Western looting of Russia and Comey. I feel like my head is spinning as my world view is changed, again.
Per Zerohedge:
Comey was the man who held Armstrong in prison illegally for contempt for 7 years.
Armstrong says, “Comey has always been part of it. Just for the record, he was the US Attorney in New York. He’s the one who kept me in contempt until the Supreme Court said what the hell is going on? Then, they had to release me.”
How did Armstrong land in jail?
Armstrong says, “They asked me to put in 10 billion dollars . . . to take over Russia, and I refused..."
" It was Comey that was the US Attorney for New York, and he kept me in civil contempt, which has a maximum sentence of 18 months, and he kept me in for 7 years.
He kept rolling it and rolling it and rolling it. . . . I was told if I put in $10 billion, I would get $100 billion back.
They intended to have all the assets of Russia going through the trading desk of New York. All the oil, gold, diamonds, platinum, you name it, they would have it all. And I said, no, I’m out. I am not into regime change.”
There's fundamental mistrust between Russia and the West. It's one of the things Trump thinks is frankly stupid, and we should be able to move beyond the mistakes that have been made in the past, but that takes two to tango.
Hard to know what is happening - you can hit translate to English
A. Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said that negotiations on a meeting between the leaders of Russia and the United States are not currently underway.
A meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump is not currently being prepared, TASS reports .
B. Russia is ready to work with Ukraine on a memorandum "regarding a possible future peace treaty with the definition of a number of positions": "Such as, for example, the principles of settlement, the timing of a possible peace agreement, and so on, including a possible ceasefire for a certain period if appropriate agreements are reached."
The Russian and Ukrainian sides must find compromises that would suit both sides: "At the same time, I would like to note that, in general, Russia's position is clear. The main thing for us is to eliminate the root causes of this crisis."
"The tone and spirit of the conversation were excellent. If it wasn’t, I would say so now, rather than later. Russia wants to do largescale TRADE with the United States when this catastrophic “bloodbath” is over, and I agree. There is a tremendous opportunity for Russia to create massive amounts of jobs and wealth. Its potential is UNLIMITED. Likewise, Ukraine can be a great beneficiary on Trade, in the process of rebuilding its Country."
Putin knows Trump's love language: Trade.
Making the world safe for trade is the core of Trump's foreign policy. Putin went there. "Now we're talking."
At least Trump is talking to Putin. Trumps trying to avoid the who lost Ukraine smear. And lots of Reps and Senators he needs the votes for his budget, and pro Ukraine.
Interesting how the EU is trying to keep Project Ukraine going;
The Trump Administration is providing Russia with numerous opportunities to demonstrate to the rest of the world that they are the only adults in the room. In essence, Trump is conducting a PR campaign that enhances Russia's standing and reputation, while highlighting that the West is hellbent on fighting to the last Ukrainian, no matter the outcome of the war. All of this benefits Russia and ensures that Putin will go down in history as one of the great leaders of this era. So where does Trump go from here? How many more times does he get to swing and miss before he's called out by the umpire? Or is Trump covertly and intentionally taking a dive and throwing the match to the Russians? Are we living in interesting times or truly insane times?
For how long and how many times has Trump announced the imminent end to the conflict? He really must have no idea how ridiculous he sounds at this point.

Putin - Yes we did arm Ukraine since at least 2014
Yes we also assisted NATO in arming Ukraine - and Yes we helped with arms and technology
to bomb your infrastructure and kill many of your people
But to not trust us is stupid - we all make mistakes

Trump hasn't been swinging and missing. He just keeps stepping out of the batter's box. Why, nobody really knows, as far as I can tell.
For how long and how many times has Trump announced the imminent end to the conflict? He really must have no idea how ridiculous he sounds at this point.
But he's probably going to turn out to be right. Russia will most likely wrap this up in a few months. He has to know that.
