Here's some early "government efficiency" wins for Big Tech. "Public-private partnerships" are the very essence of Mussolini's vision.

But it's actually much scarier because this time the Big Tech is the information control sector and data gathering sector.

I'm personally leaning more towards political grandstanding and all these world leaders know it's just that. Part of the game. If there were any truth to these statements they could never all be in the same room let alone seated together. It was quite obvious Hillary got snubbed by quite a few yesterday while Bill on the other hand was greeted by all. The most profound was clearly Obama.

But a lot worse has been said by Biden and Harris let alone Bill and Hillary and certainly Obama regarding Trump and yet they were all still there albeit Michelle who has much higher convictions.

We'll have to wait and see what good, and otherwise, evolves from his second coming.

He is not a well informed fellow - doesn't even know that NZer Ernest Rutherford split the atom, not an American.

It's difficult to separate what he's genuinely misinformed about from what he's just lying about. One must nonetheless admire his mastery of his chosen profession.

Trump is clearly getting bad intel on Russia and Ukraine. At some point that surely must change. His foreign policy approach appears to be centred on, and crudely expressed in terms of, trade and territory but I guess fundamentally that’s what every nation cares about. One could wish for more nuance and sophistication in the discussion of such issues however!

I have no answer for the Middle East. Israel and the Palestinians have both done such terrible things to each other and the hatred is so deep. I don’t know how that breach gets healed.

I grew up thinking the Israelis were the aggrieved party, and everything that happened in the ME was the fault of the Palestinians. Well, I have been cured of such sophistry as I have researched the history of that area. Sometimes one must admit he has no answers that can be enforced at the end of a sword, and that the hearts of the people must change. Wasn't it Jesus who said to love your neighbor as yourself?

Regarding Trump's BRICS Spain membership error, I heard him make the mistake. It was in the evening after a long day, and he was signing EOs and pardons while simultaneously answering questions from the press in the Oval Office. I don't view this as a big deal.

The attribution of 1M casualties to Russia (and 700,000 to Ukraine) were apparently numbers the IC gave to him, at least so he claimed. I've heard Zelensky admit to less than 50,000 Ukrainian casualties. That the Ukrainians would have less casualties than Russia doesn't pass the smell test, given that Russia is firing about 5-10X the artillery as the Ukrainians. If there really are 700,000 Ukrainian casualties, Russian losses are likely to be in the 100,000 range. If Russia really does have 1M casualties, Putin may be less even less inclined to settle if he doesn't view the casualties as a sunk cost.

Trump had a pretty good day (minus the issues as raised in this article). His biggest asset and liability are his big mouth, and it would be helpful if he'd know when he's ahead and it's time to shut up. Trying to answer questions from the press while signing EOs isn't a good idea. I don't agree with his expressed Israel views, and I hope that those are for public consumption only and he extracts the US from our foolish participation in the ME.

Trump seems to believe that had he been President instead of Biden, Russia wouldn't have invaded Ukraine and Hamas wouldn't have attacked Israel, and there'd be a chicken in every pot.

Regarding the genocide in Gaza, that was also a result of Trump policies--the Abe Accords designed to f*ck the Palestinians.

Trump could learn a bit by studying Carter's and Nixon's views on Israel.

Reading Tea Leaves

Regardless of what Trump says off the cuff or in random tweets ... when he fires or distances himself from folks like John Bolton, Mike Pompeo, Nikki Haley, Mike Turner, and Brian Hooks...and hires RFKJr and Tulsi Gabbard, and is taking advice from Elon and Vivek and Tucker and and David Sacks and DonJr, I have to still have hope.

"AI holds incredible promise for all of us, for every American," Ellison told reporters.

Mr. Trump alleged the venture would create "over 100,000 American jobs almost immediately."

Added Altman, "I think this will be the most important project of this era."

The three executives touted what they believed would be the ability of AI to address healthcare issues.

"I believe that as this technology progresses, we will see diseases get cured at an unprecedented rate," Altman said.

Cancer detection using AI, then using AI to design a personal cancer vaccine? Wut?

Howsabout they start with using Excel to examine CMS medical records to determine the extent of covid vaccine injuries and report back to us, to build some credibility?

This is terrifying, this is blowing the AI bubble sky high. This is promising to end cancer death, promising immortality.

Howsabout we spend $500B uploading Sam Altman to the cloud instead, and call it a day?
