The use by Russia of a ballistic missile with a MIRVed warhead—optionally IRBM or ICBM at Russia’s discretion—was a very serious shot across the bow, directed to the two nations that have chosen to go to war with Russia.
US should immediately declare that henceforth it will be neutral in all foreign wars, should close all its foreign military bases, and cancel all military contracts. Finally, it should cease all relations with the UK.
Dmitry Medvedev sent this tweet showing a ballistic missile attack with an interesting caption: "So, that's what you wanted? Well, you've damn well got it!" I don't know if the video that he attaches is of the actual attack, but it is rather impressive. (https://x.com/MedvedevRussiaE/status/1859659775132492036)
We shall see if any more US/UK missiles are launched into Russia. If they are, I suspect some more of these may be used to reinforce the point, perhaps against targets with greater propaganda purposes (like Kiev).

So, somewhere below the fold on the front page of the WSJ online I find out that:
"Putin Says Russia Fired a New Missile at Ukraine"
Oh, okay. They are still trying to figure out what words to wrap around it I guess. I'll check back tomorrow.
…Nato’s Black Friday gift to itself, which is exactly the threat it was created to prevent (or so we we were told)!

The Russians aren't messing around. Do they ever?
