In a better world, the sheeple would wake from their cell phone addled hypnosis and realize that we thought we were voting for a peace president and ended up with a warmongering president, beholding to a foreign government. We don't live in that better world, and won't ever be able to.

Guesses:

- Iran knows it can’t demilitarize Israel. Israel will glass Tehran first.

- Trump made super belligerent threatening remarks to give him political space to avoid involvement of U.S. forces officially. Trump knows U.S. involvement dooms his presidency. H/T Tom Luongo for general observation/ idea.

- Netanyahu is working hard to figure out how to involve the U.S.

- Israel is surprised at the resilience of Iran’s leadership, and thought they’d be in color revolution territory or cowed like Herzbolla appears to be after the leadership was decimated.

- Trump is trying hard to find a way out of this huge threat to the world’s economy, and the midterms. And the bbb bill.

- Israel did not expect Iran to be able to hit back so hard.

- the Iran/ Israel war is affecting the bbb bill votes.

- the msm / Western press is spinning like crazy on how successful the Israeli attacks are.

- the Israeli censorship is very telling. The attacks impact with Israel are really bad. My guess not much deaths, but huge economic impact. The Iranian attacks seems to be removing missile defenses systematically.

- the attacks by Israel in Iran are creating huge sympathy in the Arab world. This will create problems for Jordan very soon, especially as they participate in defending Israel against drones.

- Iran is portraying conflict as against Persians, appealing to nationalism, verses Islam.

- Iran is avoiding assassinations and deliberate civilian casualties. They are taking the moral high ground. I’m sure outside the West this is being noticed.

The question is what would satisfy Iran enough to agree to a ceasefire? Israel seems ready for one, or soon will be when they figure out the U.S. will not be attacking Iran directly, since it would destroy Trumps Presidency.

When will United Nations demand diplomacy and debate of Israel's belligerence in the Security Council? And in the General Assembly? The whole world of governing officials know that Israel is murdering innocent people en masse---entire populations: Gazans, Alawites, Syrians, Lebanese, Lebanese Christians, Russians, and now, Iranians. These Israeli's must be stopped. Cold. And Trump?

His adrenaline is pumping hard; he's acting out his self-perception as a military leader, not a king, but a commanding soldier genius---knowing, indeed, that he's THE Commander in Chief of the U.S.A.

But, I'm telling everyone, out loud, that DJT has a temper. When his decision to engage the WRONG adversary: Iran, manifests in loosening the restraining leash from mad dog Israel which results in nuclear holocaust for millions of innocent human beings---the mind of vain-glory Trump will snap, and his anger towards himself, for his own personal failure to judge prudently for the sake of humanity, will cause himself to dissolve before our eyes---lacking in decency, retaining no civility of acquaintance towards others in leadership roles...I see Trump deflating like an air-spent balloon.

Iran can, and should, end this now by de-energizing Israel. They have the means, all it takes is the will. Doing so will bring this to a quick conclusion with minimal loss of life on both sides, and eliminate the US neocons (and Trump) from accidentally or stupidly starting WW3. Israel cannot politicly continue the fight if its population is cowering the dark in sweltering summer heat. The longer this goes on, the more likely the West will do something really stupid and dangerous; resulting in Israel resorting to nukes as a desperate final measure. Both Putin and Xi will be complicit for sitting this out. The adults need to step in now.

I doubt both Xi and Putin are not pedaling like mad behind the scenes.. There's so much at stake even if it is not outright WWIII.. Letting Netanyaoo and his US supporters have their way all the way in the ME is simply the end of the world as we know it.. Xi and Putin must be the first to be aware of this peril.

After having just watched Scott Ritter and Larry Johnson on Judge Nap’s show I don’t believe one word coming out of Trump’s mouth on this he is not going to get into any negotiations with Iran or Russia. They no longer trust us and they’re not going to negotiating good faith with us if we’re not going to keep up our end and prove what we mean.

I agree with all the participants, including Alexander Crooke that we have been lied to not only by Trump but also by the Biden administration since it is quite obvious that the planning for this attack goes back at least a year according to the experts. This is not something that could’ve been put together since Trump came into office so he literally signed off on everything that was going on.

This guy is anything but a man of peace. We have lost our collective minds in the strategy We are pursuing, to not only try to coerce regime change Iran, but to finally be able to put pressure on Russia from the southern flag as well as Ukraine to force them into submission and regime change. Just so we can exploit their resources to our own desires.

If we totally throw in with Israel blatantly, and in the light of the sun, we are inviting a catastrophe and it won’t be limited to the Middle East. It will be felt worldwide specifically economically for all of us.

I’m going to hold to my prediction. I made a few days ago if we get involved in this war to a great extent, it’s all over Trump and his administration. They are slowly imploding in my opinion right now. I think the backlash from the American public specifically economic impact might be enough to force Trump’s resignation or be removed by the impeachment process by Christmas. Of course, then we would be stuck with JD Vance, who might be just as bad.

The sad truth continues spilling out:

The conflict between Israel and Iran has entered the phase of a war of attrition: Tel Aviv hopes to drag the United States into it , - The Economist.

Israeli strikes on Iran's nuclear and missile sites since June 13 have so far affected only a third of the infrastructure. Deep underground nuclear centers, including Fordow, remain intact - Israel may not cope without American "bunker" bombs.

For Israel, the key now is to maintain momentum: if it can maintain the appearance of success, it could push President Trump to engage in war. But if the pace of destruction at nuclear sites slows and the death toll rises, Trump could try to end the war before Israel achieves its goals, The Economist writes.

I have always been of the opinion that the conflicts between the Jews and Muslims is a family feud between the sons of Jacob and the combined sons of Ismael and Esau (although Iranians came late to the Muslim table.) If they want to fight, the rest of us should stay neutral, and out of sight, and let them either destroy each other or come to terms and make up.
