Ran into a former colleague who is prior military a couple days ago. He was with a former military colleague of his who claimed to have come back from Ukraine “recently”. I asked what was it like, he said anything bad you’ve heard, double it, anything good you’ve heard is a lie.

There's a pretty good two-way discussion between Daniel Davis and Douglas MacGregor that touches upon this. Sharp focus on the USA southern border: https://www.youtube.com/live/wFJejf_itHg

Ok, so now that China Mitch is headed for the exit, is he going to go scorched earth or has he actually thrown in the towel?

Don’t trust him as far as I can throw him.

I would also advise Mike Johnson to watch his back.

I say towel. McConnell's #1 deputy in the Senate, John Thune, has endorsed Trump.

Couldn’t have happened to a more deserving individual. It’s always irked me that he was always referred to as “The Leader”, sure part of that was some kind of tradition but it still smacks of the elitist mentality which I can definitely do without. These knuckleheads might want to reflect on just how out of touch some of these “traditions” appear to us peasants.

Good for Thune, I hope he’s very vocal about his support whenever he’s around “The Leader”.

This must be NATO's Sun Tzu attempt to "appear strong when you are weak" - only, absolutely nobody is fooled by it.

Macron as Napoleonic poseur is farce; as farcical as the Dark Brandon mugging on the late-night poodle show. This war never should've start. Now it's endless.

A farce, as this whole project Ukraine has been, born of an outdated, dépassé ideology, nurtured by bitterness and a desire for vengeance…Walkyrie Toria will never admit to that except to say “we need to prove him wrong.” Huh? Even as she speaks and lies, the NYT piece completely contradicts her! Putin was right all along about working, using Ukraine, to provoke Russia into war. I hope this tweet is available - it sums up this whole latest sorry venture as just one lie after another:
