Who is Megatron?

Dunno, but he monitors ME media--Israeli, Iranian, Arab.

How can Islamic citizens in these countries sit idly by while their territory is being used to help the genocide of their cousins?

Surely there has to be some backlash? Then again, the enemy of my enemy is my friend….

Nothing is ever black and white. The local governments have always seen the Palestinians as nothing more than a tool for political leverage and also a problem with which they did not want to deal otherwise.

Larry Johnson has a great podcast up on Sonar 21. He talks about how the US actually does these "empty strikes as a means of saving face and looking like we are a powerhouse.. Quite eye opening. Found his personal recollections of Assad' unleashing a chemical attack 'on his own citizens particularly striking. It never made sense and now I know why. The more i learn the more appalled I am. https://youtu.be/wu7ZVFdHll8

Good points. However, the EU could have said no to the extra Ukraine funding. Even Orban folded. Very sad.

Expand full comment

Not with the influence of the City of London pushing the funding to keep Russia mired in the SMO while they ramp up the war in the M.E.. This is classic Zionist behavior. Two front wars to create more chaos for which they profit and the middle class taxpayer is drive further into impoverishment. I cannot guess why Orban folded, but I suspect he is in the cross hairs of the neocons running rough shod over the NATO members. Fear is a great motivator. Yes, very sad indeed.

That might be the plan, but like all the neocons' cunning plans, it's reached its sell-by date. A Two-front war won't work for Israel. They are already losing a one-front war against Hamas. They may well create chaos but it won't work in their favour. The world is wising up.

Barnum and Bailey in the skies, telegraphing weakness. The US has only itself to blame - for there were many off-ramps possible, but we chose subservience and unreason over human decency and moral rectitude. John Kirby waffling and wimpering yesterday was the embodiment of a flailing, failing foreign policy…what goes around, comes around.

Iran personnel were evacuated before U.S. strikes after heavy U.S. telegraphing of actions.

So more kabuki theater.

Biden Administration #1 goal is re-election and a wider Middle East war would impede that.

I expect a withdrawal after the strikes from Iraq, and probably Syria.

Rumor has it Israeli participation tonight too.

They may believe they can withdraw. But once the fight starts, anything can unfold unexpectedly.

A lot has changed since February 24th 2022 vis a vis US/NATOs perceived strength and the rest of the world has taken notice. And October 7th has shown that the Izzies are to no longer be feared by their neighbors.

Expect the unexpected.

So Israel and the US jointly launch a bombing campaign in the ME for all the world to see.

Airstrikes on Deir ez-Zor province in Syria were carried out by Israel, not the United States – Politico, citing Pentagon officials

Timing:

The US is currently bombing Islamic resistance sites in eastern Syria. Alongside the ongoing U.S. strikes, Israel has just announced airstrikes against Hezbollah in southern Lebanon

Thanks, Mark, I guess.

They still owe us one for taking out Soleimani. If I were Iran, now would be a very good time for a long-distance take-out of someone strategic. Not endorsing it, obviously. It's just what Putin says: when a fight is inevitable, throw the first punch.

"Freeze their main enemies (Russia and Iran)" What happens if Russian and Iran don't agree to be frozen? The neocons STILL haven't cottoned on to the new reality: they are no longer calling the shots. All the actions listed above smack of dangerous desperation. Well, we survived January at least.

Steg: I saw this on Robert Malone’s Friday Funnies: “Well, January was a tough year, but we got through it!”

Two thumbs up from me on that one.

Zerohedge reporting US or Israel strikes have begun in eastern Syria. Cynics (n/k/a realists) were predicting commencement promptly after NYSE closing bell. Looks like someone got a jump. (Link does not reflect current headline and update.)

Expect retaliation from Hezbollah and the Houtis. Those sailors on the US ships must be praying that their phalanx gatling guns keep on working.

Indeed. I, myself, am praying with all I've got for those young men and women.
