Full disclosure—I was interviewed on Michael Caputo’s radio show some time ago. Seems like another lifetime. I was talking up FISA fraud. But here’s Michael Caputo—well experienced in how political campaigns operate—explaining command and control of oppo research:
This thread documents the fact that some elements of the Steele, er... "Clinton Dossier" were in the hands of McCabe and Lisa Page on Saturday 30 July, 2016. Steele shared them with Bruce Ohr at a breakfast meeting that morning, then Ohr went immediately from the breakfast with Steele to meet McCabe and L Page at McCabe's office later Saturday morning. McCabe then passes the info on to Strzok the same day, IIRC. The is ONE DAY before the CH investigation is officially opened by FBI, supposedly with no input from the Clinton Dossier.
(What I find intriguing is how is it that McCabe and L Page just happen to be in the office on a late July Saturday morning. There's no delay between the end of Ohr's breakfast chat with Steele and Ohr going straight to McCabe to "pass it along" -- not like Ohr had to reach McCabe on the golf course and tell him "I've got something so hot you need to come to office NOW!" No; McCabe and L Page were sitting there in McCabe's office before Ohr arrived.)
It gets more intriguing. On that same day, we learn from the Sussmann indictment that Sussmann and Elias are meeting another player (Simpson/FusionGPS?) in the Russia Hoax intrigue, and Joffe is at the meeting. A list of names of Trump campaign and other close associates to be "scrutinized" is passed around the meeting. That list appears to be one that is referenced in various emails related to CH a few day later, among FBI personnel on CH.
IOW, you have at least three meetings on the same day in DC where info that gets injected into the CH investigation from Steele and Joffe are being handed off, and one meeting has both of the top lawyers from Perkins Coie in attendance. Another text message between Strzok and L Page indicates McCabe was given the lists previously, but likely didn't understand them and through them out, Strzok opines.
This fits nicely with Caputo's thoughts about there needing to be people in the Hillary campaign to coordinate all this oppo-research sharing and injection into the FBI. All these people meeting on a Saturday in DC, in three separate meetings, doesn't happen by chance. It screams out that somebody is coordinating these activities; either people high up in the campaign as Caputo opines, or Perkins Coie's lawyers (or FusionGPS) are acting as proxies for the campaign directing the activities and coordination to get this stuff organized and injected into the FBI, from both the Joffe front as well as the Steele front, and thus act as cut-outs for Hillary and her campaign.
This isn't random oppo research that just flew into the mouth of the FBI fully roasted. Somebody had to dress the birds, cook them, and coordinate a near simultaneous delivery of them into the credulous mouth of Andy McCabe.
It's a carefully-planned and coordinated operation, and it ultimately had to have Hillary's approval, which the Brennan memo indicates happened a few days before the meetings took place. Jake Sullivan likely has a lot of explaining to do, as do many others.
This "total command & control" campaign model perfectly describes everything we know about Hillary's campaign. She was a "control freak" -- hence the reason for her conducting all her SoS business over her private server, to keep grubby little FOIA requests from being able to look over her shoulder. During her last campaign, recall her minions ran a rope around reporters at one event to prevent them from making "unauthorized" contact with anyone during her campaign event!
Nothing as important as frame trump with a fake smear during a campaign would be left to chance by Control Freak Hillary; Caputo's description of it would work rings so true.
Or, as I like to say, "roast pigeon does not fly into your mouth." It was all carefully orchestrated, though it could have been orchestrated in a fashion with cut-outs to protect the really guilty.
Hillary's been awfully quiet lately. No advice to McAuliffe not to concede until he could "find" enough "lost" ballots? No "we wuz robbed" so we need a recount in Virginia? Dense as she is, I think even Hillary finally gets the message that she's poison to the New Improved Democratic Socialist Party and that they won't cover for her when Durham comes calling because she's not Ideologically Pure.
