Other than that, isn't announcing to the world that we're running out of munitions, a bit dodgy?????

IMO it was one of those slips where the truth outs in dementia cases due to the lack of filter and control in the frontal cortex. A “woops!” moment…but for those paying attention to MIH and others (LJ and the Duran), this ourburst is not a scoop…it’s been well documented (Martyanov, Simplicius) and shown to be true on the blood-drenched battlefields of Ukraine. But perhaps coming from Biden’s mouth the news might jolt the Blob awake?

I had the same response when I saw Trump's comment, i.e., that he was the only one getting out in front on this and that it should turn out to be a nice, bright line not only between him and the Dems but him and his primary opponents, as well. DeSantis got off to a great start when he referred to the conflict as a territorial dispute but then went totally silent. If and when his primary candidacy flames out, I will see his running away from this issue, so far at least, as the single greatest opportunity lost.

It seems no one can win the R nomination anymore who won't take a ballsy stand against permanent war (at least we should all hope this is so), and it will be really disappointing (for me at least) if one and only one viable candidate understands that in properly actionable terms. If a major chunk of a candidate's political support depends on kowtowing to the permanent war types, then his only two choices are to abandon that support and roll the dice without it or recognize he doesn't have a chance in hell of getting the nomination.

I think the problem is that the Democrats Cannot afford to lose. They have too much at stake.

A GOP majority would (at least, should) investigate each of them til the cows come home.....

So they're likely to find way where the vote doesn't turn out wrong.

I couldn't agree more with your statement that the Dems (and more precisely, the uniparty as a whole) cannot afford to lose. I've put that same thought out both here and elsewhere on repeated occasions with only slightly different wording. And I say it just to make clear we should be surprised at no level they will sink to to prevent any sort of comeuppance. They really are a million miles too deep and too wide into severely punishable offenses (both legal and political), so there simply is no going back at this point.

Very heartening to hear. Trump the diplomat, calling a spade a spade. It’s now put up or shut up Rhinos and other “conservatives.” Prace through strength - trust but verify. Now where have we heard that before?

O/T, but prompted by this statement in Trump's announcement: "a great breach of classified information..."

Doesn't this suggest that Trump doesn't understand a/o is receiving bad counsel in his docs case? Isn't Biden allowed to reveal information like this due to his Original Classification Authority?

(Obviously I'm not suggesting that he SHOULD have revealed this information...)

That's definitely what Trump means.

Trump will be happy to address that issue.

I like the idea but how will these democrats and others even hear about Trump's position on this? The MSM only brings these democrats derogatory stories on Trump, and FNC seems to be on a Trump blackout from what I've read. And if Braindead Biden is the nominee, there is no chance he debates Trump or whoever else might win the GOP nomination. But I did see one story on Red State this morning by Bonchie on Manchin traveling to New Hampshire for a No Labels event and speculation that he could run on that ticket as a third-party spoiler. There isn't much love lost at this point between Manchin and the democrats after they hung him out to dry on the "Inflation Reduction Act." A lot of moving parts and it is still very early.

Manchin is all about show me the money. It’s just business, nothing personal.

I'd say he was hung out to dry wrt running for reelection as a senator from West Virginia. He got nothing of what he 'said' he wanted, and the West Virginians know he was played for a fool. Whether that was a willing fool or not doesn't matter anymore.

He seems to be a well paid fool. He folded soon as his price was met.

Don Surber’s (WV native) analysis. Basically Manchin wants the dnc to pay him off so he does not run 3rd party for President:
