The war mongers in the intelligence community are going to choose our fate for us all soon.

As a number of analysts have noted, the USG proxy war against Russia is in that most dangerous phase called "losing."

It is this phase where the Losers resort to increasingly desperate measures to avoid their fate. Clearly the targeting assistance to UKR is part of that but it won't end there. As it becomes increasingly impossible for the Losers to deny that the Russians are obliterating the UAF in Donbass, expect something catastrophically stupid from the Losers. Russia has been extremely restrained so far. Will that continue?

Re: "extremely restrained" - glad to see you say that. I keep thinking the same thing & have been afraid to say it out loud, but I have to given my Congressman's yes vote on the Lend Lease Act.

Yep, it's amazing how hypocritical the USG is in this. The American way of war since WW2 is to flatten everything and everyone regardless of civilian casualties and then send in the ground forces to clean up. The Russians have left all kinds of infrastructure and civilian areas untouched. When the Ukes hide their forces next to hospitals, schools, and apartments the Russkies generally hold their fire.

The US mode of operation is despicable. Not so many have figured out yet what we're paying for. I see it too clearly now. Training, arming & directing wanton psychopaths/terrorists (providing Captagon if not psychotic enuff), shuttling them from one war/insurrection to the next - Syria, Ukraine, even the US Capitol since they've become so confident of their 'winning' formula! Uggh.

And this supposed KGB despot, Putin, who we've been lead to believe has grand designs to recreate the USSR & take Stalin's place. His soldiers carefully document their every interaction w/citizens & POWs. Compassionate. Mannerly. Kind. This is a govt we shd have been cooperating with all along. Instead, we antagonize. 😠

This is the concern.

Woops! and the mushroom cloud are dramatic, but wouldn't this green light the Russians to do what they could to downgrade our military, and even our civilian infrastructure with cyber warfare and other surreptitious strikes, not claiming responsibility of course. I have the impression that our top brass are not all that bright. Things have gotten so political in Washington lately.

Of course "our top brass are not all that bright" ... they get promoted based on degree of intersectionality. How else did some guy get to be "the first woman Admiral"?

Our government and NATO have lost their collective minds.

The Russian Federation issued another warning today. This is not the first time....

I hope I linked this correctly. First time any suggestions on proper technique and form are welcome) http://smoothiex12.blogspot.com/#:~:text=Translation%3A%C2%A0%20MOSCOW,the%20minister%20said.

Questions to ponder…

What third parties would be happy to target American assets?

What could the Russians do through third parties to target American Targets?

What could the Russians supply to third parties to help successfully target the US assets?

My answer is American ships around Yemen, using the Houthanis, and anti ship missiles of some type.

Or, The Russians may decide to shoot down an us awacs planes around Ukraine. They are being used to monitor Russian communication.

What remains to be seen, is when Russia has had enough and decides the actions of the West are that of belligerents??

While the*final* word on the sinking of the Moscva is still not determined, it is known that US air recon assets were in the area.

They are admitting to some of the targeting to claim non-participation in one they almost certainly helped the Ukrainians pull off.

When you are providing intel that is helping to target and degrade the upper levels of another country’s military command structure, seems that the targeted country might take it personally.

Might even look at it as an act of war.

I’m sure I’m probably wrong though, if the Russian’s started targeting and killing U.S. generals, we’d probably just shake it off.

Naw, can’t see anyway this thing could go south.

Especially with the great leadership we have at all levels of our government. Not a chance!

Wait, we got leadership? Who knew?

" It’s also disturbing that this is being done without the knowledge of the American people, by and large."

Why?

I think the supplying of arms is much more problematic.

Expand full comment

There's something about the personal element.

Expand full comment

The personal targeting by the US is a huge change from just supplying arms and training.

Supplying arms and training is just business as usual.

The Russians would be justified in targeting the operation that is targeting their military.

Just because it’s not in the Ukraine makes no difference.

So what will the Russian response be?

And there will be one.

But why should any of us be bewildered, surprised, or anything but bemused? These are the exact, same people and "news outlets" that told us that a coronovirus would kill us all unless we muzzled double muzzled stood 6 feet apart, kept away from everyone and everywhere that wasnt protesting white oppression and police brutality; that we absolutely had to get injected w an experimental gene therapy never successfully tested in animals let alone humans or we would die and worse kill everyone else who did get these miracle drugs; that a peaceful crowd of patriotic Americans who gathered on January 6th to implore their representatives to investigate a fraudulent election before certifying it were bloody insurrectionists; that spending *trillions* of borrowed dollars would have no effect on inflation; that men are women; that Trump was a Russian agent; that Afghanistanhad.a well trained army and democratic institutions impervious to the Taliban....need i continue?

Point being, why do we think these same people will do ANYTHING but lie? So why do we pay them the slightest attention? We wouldnt buy a refrigerator from these people, why buy their cock and bull war stories?

Bonus clue: what are these observers actually looking at? Not one of them has spent any time embedded with Russian or Ukrainian troops. They simply regurgitate Ukrainian govt propaganda.
