"Why it matters." An editorial device meant to ensure that your semi-literate, untrained, and amoral reporting workforce and your supposedly moronic audience grasp the meaning of the story and can be made receptive to the implications of it. I never thought I would be thankful for the freedom of the press via examples such as Axios. But that THEY of all people are doing integral reporting does prove a point of our Constitutional system and its positing of freedom of the press doesn't it?
A perfect storm is brewing and there are now many hot spots where things could spin out of control quickly. Russia continues rolling up Ukraine and the latter's desperation may soon trigger a false-flag event as a result. Without a Ukrainian resource grab, EU banks will become insolvent soon. They need a war with Russia to mask this collapse. India and Pakistan are also on a hair-trigger. China cannot allow an attack on Iran to close the Strait of Hormuz because the loss of oil flow would seriously disrupt their economy and financial stability. This likely means that Russian AD will interdict a US-Israel attack and give our military a black eye. Trump is gambling that his Crazy Eddy act will induce all these players to come to the bargaining table rather than risk world war. God help us, but I don't think this gambit will work and I'm not sure he has a backup plan. As in WWI, we are now at the mercy of pure chance.
Well that didn’t last long. Merz was elected in the subsequent balloting. Watching the fools, lemmings, and spineless bastards engage in applause and backslapping after he “won” was nauseating.
Yep. We had a 24 hour sugar-boost then back to reality. However, I still think that the Eurocrats' doubling down will be their doom. They don't believe in course correction.
“no country has agreed thus far to accept displaced Palestinians.”
And there won’t be any as they are filled to the brim with “migrants”. So the Israelis will level every building until there are none left. BTW, Allied forces dropped 3900 tons of bombs on Dresden. The Israelis have dropped an estimated 85,000 tons of American bombs on Gaza, a smaller area - according to Will Schryver. Maybe the Israelis will change to using incendiaries to increase the death count?
“The big picture: The return to full-fledged war would come after Israel already cut off all supplies of food, water and medicine for civilians”
Rabbi Dov Fischer, a frequent contributor to The American Spectator, had this to say in his article today: “With the change to the Trump administration, we will hopefully stop telling Israel to feed Gazan Arabs, and we will hopefully not start feeding Yemenis. If they want to eat, let them stop murdering our civilians.”
Who are we kidding? The zios want NO deal and will through sophistry come up with a progressive string of reasons to militarily seize all of Gaza and the West Bank as well as parts of Lebanon and Syria. Our bought Zio Don will do nothing but throw parties in Florida as senators grow fatter. Somewhere, a man named Jared is grinning.
I used to think Trump was caught in a vice, between the Rhino/Anglo-Z’s and the more cautious and informed voices of reason. However, after listening to Ritter on J Nap, and this was not just another emotional outburst but an outright condemnation of Trump’s “stupidity” and ineptitude, I’ve become more despondent. To top it off, as Mark mentioned, Ambassador Freeman (Judge Nap yesterday) directs us to the manoeuverings of Rubio - another Rino gaining ascendancy…Sure looks bleak. Trump doesn’t seem to have the upper hand - even here in his own government!
I won't waste my time listening to Judge Nap's talking heads when I can read your and Larry's summaries. Same with the Duran. Alex gives a short version with humor. The Middle East is just a suppurating catastrophe anyway. The interesting thing is the future of Europe. Trump hasn't figured out that the Anglo-American-Zionist Empire has died in Ukraine and Gaza. He is more an undertaker than a president.
Is anyone interested in the future of Europe? Rearming (buying from US!) by further impoverishing the so-called citizenry to fight the Ruskies seems like a sure way to become competitive and prosperous !! Brilliant C Gallagher:
Great news from Germany! Icing on the cake after the Starmer crushing in local elections and Romania's electoral progress. Meanwhile, for anyone who has a quarter of an hour to understand the madness of the EU, this guy nails it: https://www.thomasfazi.com/p/europes-self-destruction/comments
"what on the surface appears to be a clash between Europe and the US may actually be, in a more fundamental sense, a struggle between different factions of the *Anglo-Zionist* empire — and, to a large degree, within *Zionism* itself — waged through European proxies [as through American proxies in America]. After all, many of today’s European leaders have strong connections to these networks."
There's no use NOT noticing who is in charge, which people staff positions in government and finance and media and tech, given those very people constantly tell us their first commitment is to their people by birth, and no re-birth into new life is possible.
Richard Werner also has the EU’s number. While he too bluntly identifies the undemocratic nature of the EU — saying its institutions are literally based on Soviet models — his focus is more on its financial totalitarianism. This vid is also only about a quarter hour long, but its a very sobering quarter hour.
Tx for the link! Time to empty the savings account and stuff it under the mattress- oops! - forgot we won’t be able to use cash and will be limited in our purchases.
Most people don't even realise that once you put money in banks it is no longer yours. If inflation remains low, there's no point in putting money there.
We in the West are all in the same boat. Oh for the days of Francs and DEMs and Liras and Pesetas and Drachmas and actual bite your teeth into Gold-backed U.S. Dollars. How foolish the promoters of the Euro monetary system without fiscal backing! The only question now is which currencies will devalue the fastest. I think the Euro will go first and then subsequently we will see a huge devaluing of the Dollar (and associated rampant inflation). Good time to be in Gold and hard assets. We are seeing that in the markets already. Bad time to be in U.S. government long term debt (or any other Western sovereign debt).
Thanks, we're running off to the followup appointment. I wrote in haste this morning but I see that LJ today appears to be on to the reality that "peace" doesn't mean to Trump what it means to most of us.

Yep. The other stock piece of Deep state journalese I hate is "Here's what we know". When I see that, I know that I'm going to be fed a pail of DS BS.
LOL! Spot on.

Remember when we were going to get the Epstein client list? Not so much, eh?
Bondi's on it, Mark. Meanwhile, I'm see that US milk cartons have "Missing" pics of Patel and Bongino.

“The Israelis have dropped an estimated 85,000 tons of American bombs on Gaza…”
Which tells you right there which country will end up being pressured to take said “migrants.”
Maybe but Starmer will say, "Immigrants? Hold my beer!"

RABBI!
Rabid, more like. These people are Nazis.
Their holy book tells them to kill their enemies. So adjust definitions accordingly.
"A Jew cries out in pain… as he strikes you."

"caught in a vice"
Freudian slip?
Most definitely!

And EU citizens will do precisely squat.
as befits zombies

Merz is Schmerz!
I would amend Fazi's description to say
"what on the surface appears to be a clash between Europe and the US may actually be, in a more fundamental sense, a struggle between different factions of the *Anglo-Zionist* empire — and, to a large degree, within *Zionism* itself — waged through European proxies [as through American proxies in America]. Thanks, BA. Will check it out.
