---Nima reports that the Saudi-Iranian discussions had to do with Saudi concerns with what’s going on in Syria and Lebanon (the Levant).

You can bet your a$$ that the primary topic was Yemen and arms to Yemen that could hit Saud targets - Saud is panicked over that - absolutely panicked - Yemen has already been stating this will happen

--- Will is often behind the ball we've been saying this for months

" There are rumors swirling that Russia is now intimately involved in the US/Iran talks. "

Of course they are that is simple common sense Brics and China Iran Russia -

--- Will again misses the point "" If Russia IS involved in such discussions, it signifies a MUCH stronger "partnership" with Iran than is commonly believed. ""

More common then who believes ? - Russian and Iran just ratified another agreement - they support each other on Everything - China too - they support each other on Everything

the ONLY thing publicly divulged is that it does - not - say is Russia is - committed - to come to Iran MILITARY aid if Iran is attacked - BUT It Does Not Have To Say That --- UN Article 51 controls Russia can do what is permitted under UN Article 51 and Russia will do it ' By The Book ' -

Russia is not selling out Iran China and the oil that goes to China - that would severally harm BRICS and everything they worked for - No Agreement with US will be made by Russia without China and Iran input and approval and No Agreement with Iran will be made without Russia and China approval

--- I've been saying at least for months now one of Trump's ONLY leverage is legally recognizing Russia New Territory - and now that Trump has been talking about Crimea recognition as Russia - you can bet the other terrorities will be demanded by Russia to be legally recognized too

The war was proven lost at Bachmut - Russia has just been cleaning up and taking more land since

Impossible for US to stop Russia - the only thing Trump can offer is a legal recognition ( getting UN to legally recognize ) new Russia

I opine : Sauds were speaking with Iran - begging - and begging on behalf of US too ---- about how do Saud and US get out of Yemen - will Iran throw them under the bus will Iran stop weapons and intelligence and aid ?

About Saudi UAE Qatar and others

What you basically have is a bunch of extremely wealth families that own some extremely valuable land - Historically these families have paid off the US to protect them, whether in cash, investments, buying debt, providing oil, in times of need increasing oil production - payoffs - in return for - US protection - US weapons and bombing opponents

these families will go as far to throw Palestine under the bus - and make good with Israel - so long as the US will protect them -

It will be interesting to watch what happens with Yemen - I highly doubt Iran will throw Yemen under the bus

When I first reported on this meeting I suggested that the Gulf Arabs would be shaking in their boots at the prospect of Iranian/Saudi cooperation.

I really think it comes down to

can the US protect them not just now but in the future

I imagine They have to be pondering as for many Ukraine lifted the veil

Is Yemen is pulling it off completely ?

I opine with todays technology it is near impossible to project power across the ocean without a coalition on the same ' land mass ' the US with EU current situation perhaps one might say animosity - I do not believe is able to rally a coalition say Iraq for example.

I imagine the Sauds have to be thinking this - not just who can protect us today but who can protect us 5 years from now - can the US still muster the power 5 years on

. Also is it far Better for US to project an all mighty power military - then to enter the fray and be proven obsolete

- would an Iran attack by US prove US obsolete in protecting mideast ?

Unbeknownst to most Americans, Yellen dug a seriously deep hole in US financial viability by her actions during the Biden Administration. As a result, collapse is the most probable outcome and Trump's team is trying to shoot-the-moon in their efforts to avoid that catastrophe. And they cannot succeed without international help. Trump is using the carrot-and-stick approach to garnering this assistance, with mixed results and everything is still a long shot. His last card to play is threatening a potential war with Iran, thereby closing the Strait of Hormuz and taking down the world economy with us. And Europe is in even deeper doodoo. They can only be saved by a world war, so stabbing Trump in the back is an imperative for them. The odds are against him, but Trump is persevering nonetheless. As always, hope for the best but plan for the worst.

The color on the Saudi-Iranian discussions is fascinating. Imagine our being on the verge of their getting past the nearly millenium-old Sunni/Shia divide!

Japan was first in line for a bilateral trade agreement when the tariffs were announced. This jumped off the page to Sundance as a very big deal.

You quote Schryver as saying, "A proposal is allegedly on the table for Russia to receive Iran's enriched uranium as guarantor of a nuclear weapons non-proliferation agreement."

I think this was written into the Iran-Russian agreement made in January and recently ratified by the Duma. That would be way more than "allegedly."

And I agree that this is the key to making the whole thing work.

Mark wrote, " As I’ve hinted above, that plan may involve leveraging “peace deals” to gain investment opportunities for the US. Those investment opportunities may rest on the recognition of the new multi-polar world order—which Rubio acknowledged even in his confirmation hearings, but it will strengthen the US far more than the continued waste involved in forever wars. This is what Trump may be trying to finesse, under the cover of the wild rhetoric, threats, actual warfare. MAGA."

Steve Witkoff made clear to Unofficial Trump MAGAphone Tucker Carlson that this is the exact policy of Trump. Witkoff seems pretty skilled to me, offhand.

I think it was more about internal Pakistani politics. A distraction for an unpopular military leadership, with the economy deteriorating. Historically whenever the military took over in Pakistan, the economy gets worse.

The attack timing during Vance’s visit is suspicious. Coincidence or deliberate?

https://korybko.substack.com/p/pakistans-military-leader-has-the?

Another potential instigator is China, which makes sense happening during Vance’s visit.
