Well, possible effects. It’s early days and it’s all very complex. However, Steve Watson has dredged up Gallup polling from earlier this year—March, 2023—on American attitudes toward Israelis and Palestinians. Gallup has stopped doing electoral projection type polls and instead restricts itself to issue polling:
I think the polling results would be very different if Jimmy Dore's latest clip was seen by more people. In fact, I'm amazed that YouTube hasn't pulled it down yet.
I can't remember who, but someone pointed out that it's more like a concentration camp because at least prisoners have access to water, food, and electricity.
Vivek isn't boxed in by the Neocon warmongering template and policy positions, where every problem looks like a nail that must be dealt with by using their hammer. And Trump? He wants to stop the killing, save lives, and start negotiating an end to the fighting.
The next GOP debate will undoubtedly turn on foreign affairs given the state of the world. Who knows, China may have attacked Taiwan by then given the strain already placed on the West with Ukraine and the Middle East, with the likelihood they see this as the best opportunity they could hope for with Dementia Joe and his merry band 'in charge.'
A good point. And now Mercouris posits a peace plan lead by Russia and BRICS, along with, perhaps other Arab states and Turkey, all countries whose interests have converged as a result of US/Nato proxy war on Russia. Where are the diplomatic initiatives in this terrible crisis of the US/Nato? Per Mercouris, “the US is playing catch-up and the EU is nowhere to be found.”
While I am still not sure how far I can trust Vivek (occasionally sounds like a Chat GPT "ask a Millennial what paleoconservatives want to hear" query), I really do like his hammering a consistent "America's interest" theme in everything he does, asking many of the politically "impolite" questions on voters' minds. Real value in that, possibly chipping away at some of the monolithic thinking reflected in the polling.
As to Israel-vs.-Palestine views, Canadian comic Ryan Long released this highly-amusing parody (sadly, fairly spot-on) a few days ago of the social-media contagion of "shout first, think later (if ever)."
I'd also be interested to see more up-to-date polling now that Likud candidate RFK Jr has made it crystal clear where he stands.

All I see is Ukraine deflection. The powers that be control both sides in the ME.

Third post of the day by Mark on a mental health day...
I noted that too!
It was a good morning.

Public education in WW2 history emphasizes 2 events in California:

May be a bit of pushback?
