After viewing this video you will realize that the Trump admin sees Russia and China as our enemies and it is aggressively acting against them (in sequence). It seems pretty clear that if you thought you were voting for Trump AND for peace, like me, you were mistaken. I had my hope and my rationales that things had changed from previous Republican administrations and foreign policy frameworks but that does not seem to be the case at all. It is all very sad and very very destructive.

He says he wants peace but he encourages the destruction of Gaza by providing weapons and cover for Bibi. He attacks Yemen, knowing it can’t possibly work. Who knows what his real position is on the Ukraine Russia war.
Foreign leaders are also like Trump. They are playing him. They know he likes praise as most do. So they flatter him. They will invest in America. They want the wars to end. Meanwhile nothing really changes.
The only reason the Gaza war is continuing is Netanyahu’s political survival.
I don’t see an Israeli military solution possible. Houthis will continue the economic blockade of Israel. Israeli casualties will continue.
If Israel continues the current methods in Gaza, just increasing their efforts, it will just increase their casualties. Israel has not succeeded so far in conquering Gaza.
My guess conquering Gaza would require a level of bloodshed Israel finds politically too extreme, no matter the Israeli far right rhetoric including from Netanyahu.

Just like the war in Ukraine, the Israeli war on the Middle East continues because Trump--and presidents before him--allow it to continue. It could all be ended with a single phone call. When you understand why that phone call is never made you'll understand the real reason why the war continues.
