Mark, we commentators sometimes express our gratitude for all your hard work in digesting and conveying so much complicated material for us. Rightly so.

But here I want to express my admiration for the quality of your writing. I’m prompted to say so at this point because, in my humble opinion, the first paragraph of this post is a masterpiece of rhetoric and style.

While I’m at it, I’ll raise a toast to Substack for potentially instigating a sorely needed renaissance of the written word!

Thanks very much. I make no claims to being a great stylist, but I do try very hard to present things clearly. The press of time means that I can't spend much time revising.

From the Louisiana permanent injunction ruling:

"The Plaintiff States’ citizens will suffer irreparable injury by having a substantial burden placed on their liberty interests because they will have to choose between losing their jobs or taking the vaccine."

How refreshing to read that in a court judgment! Even if the scope of this particular decision is limited wouldn't citation of this statement as precedent and recognition of this "liberty interest" be dispositive of other cases surrounding shot mandates?

Let's not forget that it was Obamacare that put hospitals in charge of health care (by forcing consolidation). Oh - and it was McCain who saved Obamacare.

It’s amazing how far McCain’s reputation has fallen With me. McCain’s “Just build the dang wall” commercial he went back in after reelected red pulled me on him. What a petty man.

Trump has done an amazing job of ripping off the masks.

It's a good point, but universities have been in charge of vetting membership in the profession. That explains the behavior of the med tech elite.

It's a modern-day goldrush, mining the psyche of wealthy westerners for expensively treated conditions, whether the condition is gender dysphoria or fear of catching covid or simply poor genes.

I did a quick search on the local big TV news outlets and only one carried this story, the CBS affiliate. Vanderbilt is now responding, but from what I read the response contradicts Walsh's assertion (and the Vanderbilt lawyer's) that repercussions could/would result against those staff who refused to participate.
