Long ago our "politicians" decided to ignore the wishes of American voters and determined, instead, to force us or propagandized into accepting whatever they wanted to give us. That's the beauty of a uniparty state; we have only the illusion of choice rather than a real choice. And the stranglehold that TPTB have on our (s)election process, especially in determining who is "allowed" to run for office, ensures total control over us; i.e., the AIPAC government.

I'm not sure how many here read Karen and this may be OT or in line, but I got a chuckle out of Karen Kwiatowski's latest:

I recall Mark, and most of us here were aghast at the Pete Hegseth pick and she skewers him pretty good. As for a more recent subject of our angst is Palantir........

Key line (for me), "I’m pretty sure that Alex Karp will help out, given his view that the tech industry has “a moral duty to work with the US government,...an affirmative obligation to support the state that made its rise possible.” Indeed.

It's always been a moral imperative that Zionists work with the government, they depend on government for their wealth and protection, like the antiSemitism law.

Considering that the US population has been soaked in anti-Iranian biased news/opinion thanks to AngloZionist media influence, the fact that a majority/plurality of Americans cut Iran any slack and reject militarism should be a loud shout at the administration TO BACK OFF.

But they are deaf to 'populists' even while crowing about 'our democracy'. Shut up, they will explain - London will have war.

Thank you, Mark, for looking into Strategic Culture article by Alistair Crooke. I just read it, thanks again, because he fully exposes the big picture contradictions in Trump's public persona and lackluster diplomatic skillfulness---adding comprehensibility to what I thought I understood yesterday from the same Alistair's discussion with the Judge, namely, that the Iran "threat" to Israel's survival is a false posture, a camouflage to the ambitious greed of kingpin money interests behind the face of empire USA.

Anyone else seen the post over at Gateway about the warning coming out of Iran about “something” coming that will be talked about for centuries? Could just be hype, but could also be an indication that intel community got it wrong again.

I was going to apologize for bad-mouthing Luongo.

He's doing a twitter-cast, advocating wiping out Iran as the trouble-maker.

He is terminally ignorant and should be shunned by all decent people.

Alex Krainer should distance himself from Luongo.

Perhaps the fact that he wants Iran wiping out for the Zionists and claims the Brits are the real problem should tell us something. Is he deflecting?

And Luongo used to claim he was a pacifist. Must have something to do with his clients.

Despite these polls, it sure seems like the Congress is largely on board, regardless of party. War is a racket.

Especially Lindsay Graham! What were they thinking in SC.? And they keep reelecting the guy!

They have convinced themselves that we can just act with impunity in the ME and dismiss the notion of starting WWlll as conspiracy theory nonsense.

Congress polls lower than any other group. The reality is the money they pocket makes them not care a wit about what polls say. They only use them to bash their opponent. What they need is 61% of the American people in their faces.

Good point. Despite all of Trump’s lying and various machinations over the last few days to drive us all crazy wondering whether he is going to further embroil the U.S. in yet another ME war, I should take comfort in the fact that whatever is going to happen will happen and then I can object if I don’t like it.

You must be new. In the case of Trump, Americans have had ten years to observe and research Trump's words vs actions, ie, from June 2015 to June 2025.

If we don’t get involved it will be because of people like Mark who are ringing the alarm. And, BTW, some of us think the potential for WWIII is worth “harping on” about.

"Dante's Inferno, the souls of those who remained neutral during a time of great moral crisis are punished by being forced to chase a banner while being stung by insects. They are not in the actual depths of hell, but rather in the vestibule, a place of torment outside the main gates. Dante's guide, Virgil, explains that these souls are not worthy of being in hell itself because they never actively chose good or evil."

“He who is not angry when there is just cause for anger is immoral. Why? Because anger looks to the good of justice. And if you can live amid injustice without anger, you are immoral as well as unjust.” — Thomas Aquinas.

Appreciate very much the history lesson via haunting literary revelation...although, I don't think the poor souls "are not worthy of being in hell"---but by their smug refusal to take a stand, one way or the other, these persons denied for their souls another decision, that of eternal presence in the light of Life
