What a gold mine of information in this post! Thank you.

I find the Washington Post revealing the timeline for planning of the Israeli attack on Iran quite shocking. In the wake of its failure is the CIA now trying to offload blame on Israel and Mossad? How can they when they themselves were integral to the operation? In any case, Keith's post provides a neat and elegant (if not satisfying) explanation for the whole sordid and destructive affair and puts a ribbon on it. When is Kurilla retiring? I will celebrate that day but regret that it didn't come much sooner.

The idea that the Israelis would purposely engage in radiological warfare is indescribably evil; yet when viewed from the idea that "we are all Amalek" I guess it shouldn't be so surprising. What should be just as horrifying is that we (the U.S.) have been their mentors and enablers for all of their horrible actions.

I am not surprised that Trump would freak out over closure of the Strait of Hormuz or over ICBM deliverable nukes from North Korea, assuming he has a degree of sanity left. On the other hand he has partnered with the Israelis in their demonic deeds. That does not comport with either reason or morality or self-interest. So just who is Trump these days?

The $64,000 question we’re all trying to answer! I mentioned on one of Mark’s four installments (in a response to Stephen Macintyre’s remarks) that Alex Krainer may - because he says he has no solid evidence except his informed “hunches” - have an idea of what Trump is up to! In a fascinating interview w Nima, AK sees Trump in this non-war w Iran (in which he says Israel has met w defeat) facing a stampede heading straight for him so he gets out in front of it, and directs it where he wants it to go! He counsels ignoring the trash talk and sees Trump trying to distance the US from a “toxic” and isolated Israel. He even surmises that it may be the US who passed to Iran thru Witkoff intel on Israel’s nuclear assets so as to - potentially- neuter the dreaded Samson Option. It is a long but fascinating interview and does provide counterpoint to Mark’s profound, historically and evidence-based reasoning. Krainer sees not only the defeat of Israel but its total demise, to the point of there being a one-state solution, a Palestinian one. Obviously with Mark’s latest grim reporting on the Abraham Accords 2.0, Samson may have just gotten a reboot…

All good, from about the 20-min mark and on…

It's all magical thinking, i.e., "hunches", wish fulfillment, with nothing to back it up. In fact, Trump's continuation with the so-called Abraham Accords is nothing but a continuation of pushing for a total subjection of the Arab oil states while increasing the pressure on the toughest nut of all, Iran. It's about Anglo-Zionist domination of Mid East energy resources, and has been going back to the 19th century. These are hard facts. Cf. Follow The Pipelines.

While I'm at it, Berletic's idiotic refusal to recognize Jewish political influence in the West--even more pronounced than Krainer's--is extremely tiresome. Berletic, assuming he's well intentioned, has no understanding whatsoever of money leverage in politics and wants us to believe that it's all the MIC starting wars, rather than the policies driven by interest groups.

I get it! It’s (the Jewish Spremacist Oligarchs as you’ve vigorously pointed out, and what is sorely absent from both commenters! Appreciate your reply Mark!

Krainer gets his money from offering investment advice--living in Monaco isn't cheap, as I understand things. I accept that he's basically well intentioned, but I assume that he peddles these "hunches" to tread a fine line between telling some truths while avoiding offending moneyed clients. Same obviously goes for Luongo, in a far more malignant way.

Yes, he is obviously walking a fine line, having made his money in The System while at the same time giving voice to a certain unreality. On top of it he lives on the Rock, the rulers of which are some of the most corrupt of the Euro clerisy. I did like his view of the ditching of Nato - that Trump now can walk away from that inept and flailing war project! Woe betide us now…

Well- and thoughtfully-said, dissonant.

It actually stuns me that the man that I supported and voted for 3 times has turned out to be what we have been hearing and reading since this past January-->Lies, bullying, and supporter of a brutal, immoral, murderous man and regime...I am disgusted and angry.

This is not on our plate, but I wonder about how his family is handling his behavior? They were another reason I liked DJT.

What a blow Trump being a wolf-in-sheep's clothing has done to his supporters.

You can't believe what you see, read and hear anymore.

And I could get started on photo-editing,

but not right now.

I second all your comments, aDoozy. I have wondered about Melania and if she thinks the man she married is the same now as he was even four or eight years ago. What a tough position for her and Barron to be in if his personality and/or mental capacities are indeed changing for the worse!

Hard enough to cope with someone who is changing mentally as they age, but if this be the case for Melania--her spouse is changing on the most public stage there is!

We aren't seeing much of her, as we did during the 2016 Administration. Perhaps she spends most of the time at Mar a Lago. Her dad lives there, and Barron is likely there now during his summer break.

In Sept 2023, the US sent a $1 billion "aid" package to Ukraine. It was a pile of munitions, which included tank shells incorporated with depleted-uranium.

I thought of this as I read about Iran finding d-u traces in craters made by Israeli missiles.

This pint-sized bully-coward country uses weapons from hell on people...repeatedly over the decades, with no excuse or shame.

White phosphorous, napalm, depleted uranium--are there more poisons they have shot out of their wretched launchers, bombers, and gunboats?

Many demon-possessed hate-filled humans live in Israel. They do not rest~it is on to the next plot to torture, maim, and kill.

And I am VERY sad to say that the US is Israel's partner.

We are thinking alike. I read depleted uranium and immediately thought of the Ukraine as well. It's sickening...

Trump is either an idiot or a genius. He has a way of never showing us definitively which it is. Strategic ambiguity.

You want us to bomb Iran? Fine but we’re going to do it in the most damaging way possible to your goals. Sometimes giving the petulant child (or stupid boss in this case) what they want is the medicine they actually need. Be careful what you wish for. I’m convinced more than ever that Israel is a spent force. Yes the Palestinians are fucked but that’s been a given for decades. Some will live to see the Turks roll over Israel the moment the US stops backstopping their suicidal insanity.

A lot to unpack here. If this is all true then Israel is truly desperate. No surprise just more confirmation. The cost and ability to hit Iran will become far more difficult even without Russia and China helping.

The moderates in Iran are done. This was the most minimal price Iran could have paid to accomplish that. Everything the empire does is counterproductive. Iran had REFUSED a military alliance with Russia so what do the Israelis do? Ensure that it happens in short order.

This feels like a master stroke from Trump to neutralize Israel. Iran will have undeclared nuclear weapons same as Israel. There will be a nuclear umbrella over Iran moving forward.

The DU stuff is awful. More of the same from terrorists.
