It seems like it is meaningless as to whether the war against Iran is existential for Putin and Russia. Russia won't fight to defend Iran and, from what I have read, Iran does not want them to because many Iranians are still mad that the ussr backed Iraq against Iran.

The Supreme leader would rather risk the destruction of Iran rather than have a nuclear bomb and, you mention, that they will agree to some type of Minsk agreement to delude themselves they are safe.

If all that is true, it seems Israel wins again because they want to win more than their enemies

THIS MOVEMENT IS NOT FOR NATO EXERCISE TRIDENT JUNCTION:

The U.S. is now deploying 24 Air Force tankers eastward—an unprecedented surge far beyond any NATO exercise like Trident Juncture.

Trident Juncture 2018 (the largest in recent years):

— The U.S. deployed around 6–8 tankers: KC-135 Stratotankers and KC-10 Extenders, mostly from bases like RAF Mildenhall and Ramstein NOT from US Bases.

— Additional tankers are often contributed by NATO partners (e.g., UK, Netherlands, Germany), bringing the total to 10–15 tankers in theater at MOST.

This isn’t routine. These tankers are strategic force multipliers, enabling long-range ops for bombers, fighters, and ISR assets.

If you’re wondering whether something massive is underway—you’re not wrong. MAGA IS TURNING INTO MIGA RIGHT BEFORE YOUR EYES!

Mark, I just saw a link to this notice posted in Larry C. Johnson's late evening June 15 article: Trump’s Schizophrenic Middle East Policy, Facilitating Disaster

The article is on Larry's Substack page, and at sonar21.com.

Thank you for posting the notice~VERY disturbing news.

I disagree with some of what Larry says, but not the conclusion--like him, I fear Trump is going to attack Iran. More specifically, Fordow.

I disagree when LJ suggests that Trump sobered up a bit after talking to Putin. To the contrary, if you read Trump's words again, as I've said, it seemed to me that he was playing the smart ass with Putin--VERY disturbing.

I fully agree with the headline of the second article:

Diplomacy on his deathbed – from Peace President to Warmonger

The US’s involvement in the attacks on Russia and Iran makes a negotiated solution to these conflicts unlikely. Trump, who promised his people peace, is bringing war.

Even if Trump did "sober up", we all know that he'd be "drunk" again the next day after talking to another advisor.

Obviously they're flying over to grab as much oil as they can from Iran's Abadan refinery before either Israel blows it up or Iran sends it to China on that newly built 10,000km railway. 😉😇

This sounds like a bunch of horseshit. MEK is a CIA asset and has been for decades. Totally captured. And not significant inside Iran. I have no clue who Simplicius is. But this sounds like propaganda. And the author is former FBI so...

I remember at the end of the movie War of the Worlds the Martians, seemingly about to crush human opposition, were laid low by other factors, an infection from within. Eventually that will be the fate of the Unipolar Power, and rot seem to be well along the way.

Very interesting. So the thought here is that Iran will eventually fold because they are weaker than portrayed and don’t have the will to fight a long battle?

The thought is that this war is existential for Russia.

The Israeli’s have shown they can’t be trusted, so I doubt the Iranians would bargain away missile development.

And Iran took huge casualties in the Iraq Iran war, so I wonder about the Iranian’s need to negotiate. Or even how true the comments Iran is not as strong as portrayed.

Berletic hinted at US engaging something similar to the way Iran is husbanding its missiles: send enough to cause Israel to deplete their resources.

But US may be holding back until Iran depletes its resources, THEN US will enter the fray.

If, as is suspected, China is rapidly resupplying Iran, that point won't be reached.
