I'm not, for the record, on the verge of endorsing RFK Jr. I think he's interesting and have simply gone through the process of analyzing the situation. What I think is really happening is the same forces that forced Biden to back down in Ukraine at Vilnius two weeks ago are going after Biden and throwing open all of the doors on the cockroaches on The Hill

It'll get messy from here. Too many potential counter-moves to model. This game of "Five Tribes" just started. It could go in a lot of different directions.

Every time I look at Biden, I think of Blutto Barr!! Barr stuck us with a demented old fool as President and total moron as VP. Now everyone is in a panic trying to figure out how to move these two walking, talking disasters off of the stage without creating an even worse mess than we are in now. Good luck with that.

Oh, and I’m not holding my breath while waiting for the Republicans to do something heroic like, oh, I don’t know, put the good of the country first.

This whole wretched mess could blow up in our faces and put the country in a situation that none of these clowns has even considered. Of course, they can always fall back on the Nuland Doctrine, “F**k the consequences”.

TL asks, "Blood is in the water not just over Joe Biden, but the entire rotten edifice. Is it possible they’ll finally get to Obama here?"

Nope. Not the Precious, the Ring of Power, the Fundamental Transformation.

Former President Barack Obama’s personal chef, Tafari Campbell, 45, of Dumfries, Virginia, died while paddleboarding near the family’s home on Martha’s Vineyard.

The pond is “just yards away from” the former president’s home.

Paul Ryan ensured Trump's "impeachments" because he wanted to give the House back to democrats. Thus in 2018 midterms House Speaker Ryan allowed 38 races to run without a Republican candidate on the ballot. Only 3 races lacked a dem. candidate. https://ballotpedia.org/U.S._House_elections_without_a_Democratic_or_Republican_candidate,_2018

RFK JR reminds me allot of Bernie has some good things to say but has not a clue on how to implement them. But it is nice to see him give the Dems problems. Anything other than Trump in the WH is a UniParty win and then we are screwed, wars and famine forever.

While I agree that Kennedy is doing the country a service, and I hope he continues, I must point out that his foundation blasted the Supreme Court Dobbs decision with the most extreme anti-life language.

I remain of the opinion that watching RFK vs ? is only one leg of the elephant, while Qin Gang and the Rocket Rebellion is a different leg, at least to this blind person. The chef’s odd death at the Loretta Fuddy Memorial Night Swim meet may even turn out to be the tail.

No way to know, but there is way, way more going on out there than we’re even able to sniff out. Time will tell.

It seems likely that enough Republican Representatives could be turned to approve Newsome as VP. He would be defacto president. Harris would pardon all the Bidens in the name of Movine On. Newsome would then run as the incumbent and avoid a primary. Kennedy would never get through the convention.

That's not exactly the kind of deal I had in mind. I was suggesting the the GOPe would make a deal to let Zhou off the hook by resignation in return for a RINO VP, which would free up Newsom to run against Trump. Pure speculation, but I have to believe that there's all sorts of talk going on in DC these days behind closed doors.

I still think they're going to shuffle "The Wise Latina™" out the door of the Supreme Court and slip in Kamala. To me, this is the ONLY deal she will accept - lifetime sinecure. And, if and/or when, the Dems get the Presidency and the Senate Majority again (Manchin and Sinema have vowed repeatedly their opposition to Court packing), they fully intend to pack the Court, thereby diluting Kamala's influence. Hoping, of course, that she demurs from questioning during oral arguments!

Thanks for responding and, I agree. You are correct it is a joke (perhaps more aptly, sarcasm). I'd like to know how these self righteous and self-serving elites in the GOP define winning, that would be enlightening. Do they feel that the wealth they extract for playing along is winning? That would be a good question to ask such luminaries as Mitch McConnell or perhaps Mitt Romney and the harridan of Alaska, Murkowski. As our politicians seem to demand we accept our fate (climate change you see) they live a life of leisure, well fed, and travel in style while enacting policies they do not need to adhere to. When something can no longer go on, it doesn't and that seems to be a historical fact.
