Just stumbled on this from the Federalist, a blistering, brilliant takedown of the woke “feminism” crowd by Carina Benton - If you have 10 mn, it’s simply fantastic- a sample:

Since the revolutionary feminists of the 1960s and 70s, they’ve been trying to destroy femininity and build it back better. Their chaotic platform has promoted vitriol against men, violence against the unborn, and now, irony of ironies, a denial that “women,” as an objective reality, even exist. Women would better serve their bodies, souls, and sanity by rejecting these demented lies and instead embracing a Christian understanding of motherhood and femininity. …

Not surprisingly the big losers over time have been normals, and the winners have been aberrosexuals. That was the whole idea.

Via Red State:

But according to a new poll from CNN (yes, CNN), it doesn’t appear to have worked.

The share of registered voters who say they are extremely or very enthusiastic about voting this fall rose 6 points between the first survey and the second, but that increase is about even across party lines. Among Democrats, 43% now say they are extremely or very enthusiastic, up 7 points. Among Republicans, it’s 56%, up 9 points. And voters who say overturning Roe would make them “happy” are nearly twice as enthusiastic about voting this fall as those who say such a ruling would leave them “angry” (38% extremely enthusiastic among those happy, 20% among those angry).

I think it would have made a bigger difference 2018 and before. Normal people don’t scream like crazed idiots to preserve the right to rip a baby apart limb by limb, or burn it alive in saline, to spare the “birthing person” nine months of pregnancy when 4 or 5 have already passed.

Democrats also blew up their whole “my body my choice” bull with vaccine mandates

Democrats blew up any concern for women when they decided the term is undefinable and men with a penis can be one, naked and erect in front of minor girls (CA spa), simply by claiming they feel like it that day.

Democrats indifference to inflation and cheap labor pouring across the border blows up their claim to care about poor people

Plus, reversing roe doesn’t actually outlaw abortion. It sends it back to the states where California engages in full on genocide and LA makes it so restrictive it might be worth investing in plan B and most of the rest of the country ends up with Western European abortion laws somewhere between 8 and 12 weeks with a heavy focus around 10.

Democrats want to make abortion an issue. Unfortunately for them, fortunately for us, they are just proving the really hate young humans.

The MSM is once again at the forefront at whipping up pro-abortion activists. But as Don Surber notes, times have changed. Advancements in medical technology have changed the argument. The back-alley clothes hanger wielder canard is no longer believable. Finally, the old frontline feminists have lost most of their fire as they have aged as well as much of their credibility for past support of serial womanizer Bill Clinton and more recently on the wrong side of the 'me-too' movement where they supported the powerful (the Cuomos, Weinstein, Franken, etc.) over the abused women. And finally, the feminists have been rolled over by the LGBTQ lunatics for failing to stand up for young women as they struggle against unfair male competitors living out a fantasy.

CNN poll: The Supreme Court's draft opinion on Roe v. Wade hasn't shaken the midterm landscape

https://freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/4061020/posts

On the economy -- the issue most likely to be a driving factor for voters this fall -- nearly half of adults (46%) in the latest poll say the Republican Party's positions are more aligned with their own, compared with 31% for the Democratic Party.

This poll gave me my big laugh for the day: "Republicans hold a narrow edge over Democrats on the generic ballot test, 49% to 42% among registered voters." Apparently to CNN anything even slightly less than a plurality is now to be considered "narrow." This doesn't even factor in the inevitable Dem oversampling. If any Presidential election had such an outcome it would be deemed a landslide and no one of any political persuasion would question that judgment.

Maybe CNN makes its judgments in accordance with Bob Uecker's pitch call in "Major League": "Juuuust a bit outside!" It's a shame these propagandist polls (which like a Catcher try to frame an errant pitch as best possible so that it might be called a Strike) receive consideration in the public discourse. That said they are always good for a chuckle along with revulsion.

As you have pointed out on numerous occasions Mark, the left constantly assumes that wishing makes it so and then reality rears it’s head.
