I'm as suspicious of the safety and effectiveness of covid vaccines as any one...and while I accepted two moderna jabs in early 2021, I have not taken a booster and have no plans to...I'm planning to rely on my very own immune system if I'm ever infected...even though at age 72 I guess I'm in a higher risk demographic...

Having said all that, I have read that the vax often reduces the severity of symptoms for those infected and also, statistically, reduces the frequency of hospitalization...and perhaps even mortality? I mention the foregoing only in the interest of getting both sides of the story out...

What those stats tell me is that a large portion of Americans will go right back to all the BS once Fall arrives. Gutless.

I take the contrary view--that only in the Deepest of Blue areas will the authorities attempt to do this again, and will only do it is "recommended."

I just did a comment in which I stated I was skeptical about gov stats re the number of people injected.

"BBC wants "to understand why 8% of the population remains unvaccinated against Covid"

Updated: 2 days ago

"Update: within 2 hours of me posting this article and tweeting it the BBC updated the article (see below) so it's just as well I grabbed a screenshot of the original."

The real number is 30%.

The Lund study is important. It actually dates from February, I believe, but I haven't heard more about it.

I don't think it had been peer reviewed yet. When I saw the latest story on this, I thought it might have been post-peer reviewed.

Historically, you can maintain support for almost any American war for three years before war weariness sets in and public support becomes a problem. World War II and the Civil War both ran longer than three years, but in both cases, there was clear and obvious progress towards victory at the three year mark. In 1964, when Lincoln was re-elected, no one thought the war was going to last forever, and the voters chose to finish that fight. In the case of Vietnam, there was no evidence of progress at the three year mark (1968) and LBJ was toast. Iraq is the same story. By '06 the insurgency had really started to rip and public patience with the Bush II Administration was exhausted. Afghanistan was something of an outlier, but we had been directly attacked, and the cost had been eclipsed by Iraq.

Looking at COVID as a war, the clock on public support has run out, and there is no victory on the horizon. We are following a well established historical pattern. To no one's surprise except perhaps the people who pushed the panic, the well of public support is dry.

Steve Kirsch recently published a monster catalog of developments indicating the “safe and effective narrative” is rapidly falling apart and momentum is swinging in our favor. This one’s worth bookmarking as he will be updating regularly.

Stumbled across this just now, think I read abt the 'superspreader' effect here or elsewhere recently (see link to Igor Chudov's substack ~ half way thru) - https://dossier.substack.com/p/after-month-long-covid-bout-fauci?r=rwfkh&s=r&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=email

What sorta 'science' do these cockamamie 'experts' rely upon to proclaim they'd been much worse w/out vax + countless boosters?!

My BS meter pegged out after the Diamond Princess situation, the "novel coronavirus" didn't do much to a bunch of old folks in close confinement, so I called BS!

I am a hard core skeptic of overpaid, underworked, highly credentialed Government do-gooders, who spread doo-doo such as magic masks, pretty plexiglass, sacred six foot separation, virtuous "vaccines," and so forth.

Vanishing vaccine mandates

Date:7/10/22 3:19 PM

Author:Spectator Australia

This week, with hardly a whisper from its chief public health officers, Australia largely abandoned its vaccine mandates. For the most part, they remain in force only for those working in health and aged care or with those with disabilities. There has been no explanation given as to why unvaccinated workers can now be ‘welcomed back’ into workplaces.

Those of us who doubted the entirely ridiculous premise of shutting down and quarantining the entire country to stop the spread of a virus and that a vaccine created in but a few months with no testing on potential long-term consequences have not changed our thinking. And justifiably so.

What is (not too) shocking is that all but 22% to 30% are appallingly uniformed, or brain dead catatonic cultists for whom no amount of truth will ever pull back from their journey into Globo-capital's totalitarian 10th level of Hell.

The other side of that is that not as many people are getting boosted as got injected in the first place. I'm actually somewhat skeptical about the percentages of injected that the government puts out.

Kirsch points this out:

"Surveys (such as this one) consistently show that fewer than 50% of Americans are willing to get more shots of the vaccine."

Recently in the news, Canada has had to dispose of millions of doses of unwanted injections. This has happened elsewhere, too. As Kirsch says:

"Most of America is clued in, even though none of the media people are. As a result, the government is throwing away tens of millions of vaccine doses due to insufficient demand (which is why Peter Marks of the FDA said he’d do anything except debate the opposition to reduce vaccine hesitancy. So basically we are literally throwing away billions of dollars of taxpayer money to produce a product nobody wants."
