I saw a report about this very topic this past week on Redacted's broadcast on rumble. Clayton Morris interviewed Chicagoan journalist Terry Newsome. Terry talked about the likelihood of gang wars, the privileges shown to the illegals, and the magnitude of crimes committed by the illegals and gangs of illegals. One shelter that is operated by an NGO in downtown Chicago--the once-beautiful historic Standard Club in the Loop--has had 700+ crimes committed by its residents so far this year!
The south side Chicago neighborhood that Mark wrote about is called Englewood. This is tragic in more ways than one for me. All four of my grandparents immigrated to the United States from Sweden in the early 1900s. They entered legally through Ellis Island. All made their way by train to Chicago, where Swedish relatives and friends had settled before them. Initially, they stayed in a family member's house. First orders of business: find a job, join the church, learn English. These Swedes helped to make the Englewood a bustling, thriving neighborhood. A great place to meet a future spouse, wed, raise a family, work, shop, and be a part of a church
family.
Now...the Englewood neighborhood is a hell hole: crime, vandalism, businesses moved out, gang warfare, unemployment, incomplete families, welfare checks. This is the most likely neighborhood to erupt in gang warfare with illegal gangs, Terry Newsome said. I don't know where the closest NGO-run living place is for the illegals~that is my next dig. Just because its kinda personal.
I grew up in a SW side Chicago neighborhood. As far as I know it has not met Englewood's sad and stormy fate.
Nope sold my big city house and bought a bug out spot in Santa Catarina Brazil moved there during covid because Bolsonaro had no restrictions and it's more European than Europe. Now two of our kids are down there they loved it so much. Our other place is in Villages FL which seems safe for now.
I'd seriously be looking at Russia with Putin's amnesty for conservative westerners if a young man but I hate cold.
As we got close to retirement in 2017 we scoured the earth really. I just wanted a sail boat for a year in south pacific know what I'm saying? But I have kids (&granddaughter) to think about.
I am 57 so still lots of energy I guess...Wouldnt do this at my parents age both in 80s.
St, thanks for sharing your situation. It is so good to communicate with people that share love of country as founded, and who have opinions in common. My husband is 72, and I will turn 70 in November. My husband is spry, but I am not...bad legs, but my mind is spry.

We don't want to give in to the baddies, so we communicate, and vote, and pray.
Venezuelans, like most South Americans are a pretty cohesive group. That becomes even more apparent when a minority ( The Venezuelans) are thrust into a new area. The gang violence? Any idiot could have seen this coming. It is a natural economic outcome. This was bound to happen.
First. You are not getting the best and brightest and successful populations in these immigrant waves.
Second. Criminal activity goes hand in hand with these populations. Not the innocent migrants fault. It is just the way it is.
Third . So you have indigenous (U.S. black and hispanic) minority forces already eeking out an existence in a suck-wad, Zero sum, environment.
Fourth Competitive pressure. Now you have a new group come in, competing for the meager crumbs at the same table. And you did not think that violence would increase? Of course it is going to. It is dog eat dog and the key thing is...... and they know it.

Not only did they not know it they deliberately inflicted it. They have wittingly and calculatingly destroyed this Country from this inside out. The question is why? Have we been sold out to the highest bidder knowing the USA is in it's final throws? You cannot possibly tell or convince me this was all not preventable. All these major cities have now been destroyed. New York is so dangerous you can't walk anywhere during the day not knowing whose going to stab you. Just this week a man was stabbed from behind exiting the subway. How the hell are you supposed to even defend yourself anymore when you don't even know who you're attacker is? A tourist from Pennsylvania was stabbed in the abdomen walking down 7th Avenue in the middle of the day yet they have no problems mustering up the funds and police forces to not only dispel but arrest and charge the peaceful college protestors. Thousands upon thousands of kids doing nothing more than exerting their rights getting hauled away in handcuffs, meanwhile all the criminals are free to roam the streets at their leisure. NYC - GONE! San Francisco - GONE! Even places like Nashville Tennessee - now has one of the highest crimes rights in the United States. Philadelphia was always bad but no where near the degree it is today. Same holds true for Chicago. It's all deliberate and intentional - first they instituted bail reform, then they defunded the police then they opened the boarders and purposely allowed the Country to be destroyed.
BJ I have read, and I still cannot come to grips with it, that the elites/globalists/socialists running the US government want to tear this country down by ripping apart the Constitution--the foundation and society built upon it. Destroy is their motto, and~"Remould it nearer to the heart's desire." God is removed. The people left will be serfs to the elites in power.
