A fascinating article appeared at Fox last week about the coming war in some of our cities—maybe quite a few. Why I say this article is fascinating is because it hints that the real action might be over government benefits to the gangs, what you could call “disparate benefits”. Knock me down with a feather!
Chicago gangs clash with Venezuelan Tren de Aragua members: ‘Blacks against migrants’
Local gangs claim Venezuelan gangsters have started to impede on their traditional territory
Who could have predicted this? Well, just about anybody.
Venezuelan migrants moving into Chicago’s South Side have caught the attention of the city’s gangs, with some fearing an impending turf war between local gangs and their Venezuelan counterparts.
"When the black gangs here get fed up with the illegalities and criminal activities of these migrants or non-citizens, the city of Chicago is going to go up in flames and there will be nothing the National Guard or the government can do about it when the bloodshed hits the streets. It’ll be blacks against migrants," Tyrone Muhammad, a former Chicago gangster who did 20 years in prison and now runs a violence prevention program, said in a report for the New York Post.
…
"There’s been a lot going on with (the migrant gangs) that nobody’s even hearing about," Zacc Massie, a local Chicago gang member, told the New York Post. "They be moving in our own territory and robbing people but they don’t get arrested like we do. I actually talked to one on the translator app. He told me all the things he got going on; how they helped him get a car, an apartment, (EBT) card, all this stuff. They giving them thousands, we get maybe $400 a month. And they don’t even have Social Security numbers!"
Sources from local Chicago gangs told the New York Post that members of the Venezuelan gang are often heavily armed and have begun spilling into areas traditionally controlled by local gangs.
Local gang member Corey Rogers told the New York Post that Venezuelan gangsters will often be seen "showing the flag," a slang term for brandishing their firearms. He also showed the outlet text threads that featured local gang members threatening turf wars with the newcomer gangsters.
"What bothers me is that the Venezuelans are united," Rogers said. "The black gangs are too divided and they take each other down."
Zhou’s legacy—war everywhere. Home, abroad, wherever. Nothing like taking a problem and making it worse.
I saw a report about this very topic this past week on Redacted's broadcast on rumble. Clayton Morris interviewed Chicagoan journalist Terry Newsome. Terry talked about the likelihood of gang wars, the privileges shown to the illegals, and the magnitude of crimes committed by the illegals and gangs of illegals. One shelter that is operated by an NGO in downtown Chicago--the once-beautiful historic Standard Club in the Loop--has had 700+ crimes committed by its residents so far this year!
The south side Chicago neighborhood that Mark wrote about is called Englewood. This is tragic in more ways than one for me. All four of my grandparents immigrated to the United States from Sweden in the early 1900s. They entered legally through Ellis Island. All made their way by train to Chicago, where Swedish relatives and friends had settled before them. Initially, they stayed in a family member's house. First orders of business: find a job, join the church, learn English. These Swedes helped to make the Englewood a bustling, thriving neighborhood. A great place to meet a future spouse, wed, raise a family, work, shop, and be a part of a church
family.
Now...the Englewood neighborhood is a hell hole: crime, vandalism, businesses moved out, gang warfare, unemployment, incomplete families, welfare checks. This is the most likely neighborhood to erupt in gang warfare with illegal gangs, Terry Newsome said. I don't know where the closest NGO-run living place is for the illegals~that is my next dig. Just because its kinda personal.
I grew up in a SW side Chicago neighborhood. As far as I know it has not met Englewood's sad and stormy fate.
Venezuelans, like most South Americans are a pretty cohesive group. That becomes even more apparent when a minority ( The Venezuelans) are thrust into a new area. The gang violence? Any idiot could have seen this coming. It is a natural economic outcome. This was bound to happen.
First. You are not getting the best and brightest and successful populations in these immigrant waves.
Second. Criminal activity goes hand in hand with these populations. Not the innocent migrants fault. It is just the way it is.
Third . So you have indigenous (U.S. black and hispanic) minority forces already eeking out an existence in a suck-wad, Zero sum, environment.
Fourth Competitive pressure. Now you have a new group come in, competing for the meager crumbs at the same table. And you did not think that violence would increase? Of course it is going to. It is dog eat dog and the key thing is...... and they know it.
