Good evening, NFO! I apologize for not writing back until now, but I never looked at the e.mail inbox, from last night's comment until now. Yes, priceless Patel "own" of his adversary---shows that he remembers his "staffer" job time in Congress. Did you also notice the appearance of Ms. Klobuchar upon the members' return from the "break"? She seems to have re-freshed herself, physically and mentally, for Round Two, which is good.

Of US military experience was the lethally choreographed kill zone of booby-trapped, explosive-laden houses of Fallujah’s militant insurgents. Fallujah was extreme difficulty for US.

And I am most certain this is what was imagined and specifically designed for the Russians to have to deal with in Ukraine, specifically Bachmut but many other places too.

US thought what Russia has accomplished was impossible. No one is to blame but the US arrogance.

Russia is moving slowly and with intent, and when you compare to US in Fallujah you realize what Russia is accomplishing, with all of NATO behind Ukraine, including eg: a minimum of 8 years of design and arming of Bachmut prior to the start of the military action = as a previously proclaimed impregnable fortress [ by the US and Ukraine ], Russia is doing what was unimaginable by the US military just 2 years ago.

US Marco Rubio is starting to acknowledge that now.

The war was over after Azovstal Iron and Steel Works, however, there were some Us doubters but then Bachmut was the 100 % proof.

If they could not defend Bachmut they could not defend anything.

Every Serious Military Leader in US knew full well that when Bachmut fell Russia had won and there was nothing they could do about it.

Since Bachmut US has been in full on propaganda and tall tale mode - knowing Russia would prevail but kicking the can.

Thanks Mark - I highly appreciate your writings and insights.

At the time I happened to have read quite a bit on the design of Bachmut as well watched daily while the battle was ongoing - at the time I had read ISW but quickly learned it wasn't worth reading (complete garbage) and discovered multiple other sources. Have not read ISW since.

Interesting perhaps Bakhmut originated as a fort in the 17th century to protect Russian borders from the Crimean Tatars Ivan the Terrible Peter the Great.

Ukraine and US had for 8 years designed armed and equipped Bachmut as a fortress, they had it seperated into quandrants, built large high concrete housing that would double as protection/seperating barriers, bunkers, cross fire areas, streets, weapons systems, air defense, fuel depots, and counterbattery radar, surrounded by low lying level land, everything was designed with American money and experience

They were confident it could not be taken. 8 years of design.

Avdiivka the " second bachmut " was similar. There was a minimum of 8 years of design and construction with the specific intent to not let the Russians do what the Russians did.

Britain always has been, is now, and will be our eternal enemy. At least until such time as their arrogant, despicably dank island sinks into the abyss of the sea from a wave triggered by a cutting-edge Russian weapons system

The Trump administration is slowly getting the sense of reality for the first and foremost condition for the negotiations to even occur and exhibit signs of understanding that Putin will not be signing any papers with an expired president.

Quote

Velina Tchakarova @vtchakarova

Keith Kellogg, Trump's special envoy for Ukraine & Russia, told Reuters that presidential and parliamentary elections, suspended since the all-out war began, "need to be done."

Trump and Kellogg are pushing Ukraine to hold elections as part of an initial ceasefire with Russia.

I would think it would be painful for the U.S. government (regardless of administration) to tacitly accept responsibility for the Russia-Ukraine conflict by acting as the counterparty to Russia for its resolution. One can understand why the U.S. would want to wiggle out from under that. At the same time one can fully understand Putin's desire to have it done this way. I would expect Putin to relish this for PR purposes (toward his own population and BRICS) as well as for its obvious practical considerations. Perhaps he will do something to make Trump look a little better in light thereof (he has already hinted at that publicly).

Russia is in a position to demand whatever they want.

They have unstoppable missiles

They have the best anti missile systems

They have nuclear torpedos, already in place

They have stealth Subs, even the 600 ft one

Everyone else should ask. how can we make up for unwarranted aggravation

Those US-Hegemon chickens are coming home to…be made into multi-polar omlettes by Chef Rubio: as quoted by Bernard at MoA:

right? [..]

“[A]nd that’s the way the world has always worked. The way the world has always worked is that the Chinese will do what’s in the best interests of China, the Russians will do what’s in the best interest of Russia, the Chileans are going to do what’s in the best interest of Chile, and the United States needs to do what’s in the best interest of the United States. Where our interests align, that’s where you have partnerships and alliances; where our differences are not aligned, that is where the job of diplomacy is to prevent conflict while still furthering our national interests and understanding they’re going to further theirs. And that’s been lost.”

Like SO much your articulation of brass tacs, andy your word pictures..."backed by the crowd carrying the pitchforks"

Having now watched through all three pivotal confirmation hearings: two-for-RFK jr., Kash Patel, and Tulsi Gabbard, it is plain as day how twisted in knots are those Anglo-Zionist Congressional members. I could not believe my eyes, watching Sen. Amy Klobuchar (sp?) whine and cry while reading edited snippets of Kash Patel writing. It took me back to her outrageous hypocricy against Supreme Court Justice nominee, Brent Kavanaugh. She whined and commiserated with the Judge, but did not let up on falsely accusing him of prejudicial beliefs and actions. I found her way too emotionally distraught in both confirmation hearings---and remain greatly relieved that her bid for the 2020 Democratic Party nomination for president didn't succeed.

John Warner won't ever be free from shame for his Russia Hoax criminal actions---he whined too; but more than Klobachar, Warner looked frightened of the times-to-come, of truths to be revealed soon. Senators Bennet, Whitehouse, Blumenthal, Hirono, Murray, and Sanders are just crowd agitators promoting status quo deep state policy secrecy. Bud Dick Durbin showed clearly that his mental acuity has declined. He has no mean bite anymore, only mean gossip "digs" to speak against nominees with moral worth.

As much as I prefer decorum in these hearings over yelling and snark, Klobuchar got everything that was coming to her with Kash's "you've got two minutes...". Her chastened "wow" was priceless.
