I try to keep track of Covid stories, and lately there have been some fairly compelling articles. Here’s a compilation—just a reminder that this greatest of all deliberately inflicted public health disasters is still with us. It’s still a disaster and it’s still deliberately inflicted. Nevertheless, people are catching on, and this may be one of those unspoken issues in the upcoming midterms. As always, follow the links:
Neighbors both just got it again. She (a RN) and he both had it and despite natural immunity THEN got vaccinated AND subsequently boosted. She has now had it three times and he twice since the most recent shots. She remains horrified that I have not been vaccinated; he told me that being vaccinated has kept them out of the hospital. What can you do with such people?
Every time I read about the big educational losses among schoolchildren my first thought is, "What about the parents?" Didn't they know their children were getting shortchanged? How passive could a parent be to see his kids not learning and not do anything about it. Many saw with their own eyes that their children were not, or just rarely, being taught remotely. Parents must be so intimidated by the education establishment that they don't think they could teach their own children to read or do arithmetic, or learn basic science and history. They could get simple books from the library and workbooks from Walmart, or free materials online. Or they could find a friend or relation who could do it. Or, if they have the money, get some friends together and hire a tutor. It is pathetic that so many parents are so helpless.
I doubt that once these cretins ever get around to saying they are sorry that it really won’t matter in the long run. The damage has been done: too many people have died unnecessarily or have been permanently disabled, both physically and mentally. Kids have lost two years of schooling. People had to forgo needed medical treatment for their chronic ailments and in many cases, they worsened because of COVID fear mongering. Tons of people lost their jobs, especially in the public service and public health sectors. A mere “I’m sorry” just won’t cut it.
And on that last point: I’m happy that Ron Desantis and the Governor of Alberta province in Canada are setting things right by their actions, and it’s great to hear that the NYC mandates for public employees were overturned and the city employees welcomed back with back pay. But if I were a police officer or EMT or fire fighter going back to a job I was fired from, it would be a good development except that there would always be in the back of my mind a level of mistrust in the city (or state) government going forward.
That’s the bottom line: these agencies and the people running them have deliberately destroyed the public trust and it is never going to be regained. I doubt they care anyway. After all, we’re just all a bunch of useless eaters, aren’t we? These people do not deserve to be trusted with anything ever again.
I wonder what the thoughts of those who were coerced, suckered, shamed, etc. into getting these injections are today. And the campaign still continues to inject as many as they can. I heard on the radio news this morning that the Biden administration is encouraging all universities to have a 'booster/vaccine' day before Thanksgiving. This might provide a good data point as to how many true believers remain out there...
NY State Supreme Court reinstates all fired unvaccinated employees, orders backpay, says the state violated rights, acted arbitrary & capricious, notes:“Being vaccinated does not prevent an individual from contracting or transmitting Covid-19.”
Critics have long questioned why the National Institutes of Health (NIH) would fund experiments by University of North Carolina of Chapel Hill (UNC) professor Ralph Baric to **develop a technique for hiding evidence of human tampering in laboratory-created super viruses.**
Hmmm. 37% of voters that I talk to would like to see the CDC and FDA defunded along with investigations, indictments, prosecutions, and extended prison sentences for negligent homicide--if not capital punishment for premeditated mass murder.
Excellent long post by Dr. Malone. It clarified a lot of the why:

The irony of Biden’s press conference peddling the new booster shots…
**CDC director isn’t in the line-up because she took the new booster shot last month and contracted COVID this month.**
They’re shameless.

BIDEN: "Not enough people are getting [vaccinated.] We've got to change that, so we can all have a safe and healthy holiday season."
