It appears that the Russians are taking limited offensive actions, targeted at creating local cauldrons that cause maximum damage to the Ukrainian force structure. That will presumably create gaps in the lines or cause a thinning out of the lines—to be exploited as opportunity offers.

Worse yet, I fear Israel could be walking into a trap in Gaza as there are a lot of high tech weapons out there from Afghanistan and Ukraine and deadly drones from Iran; and we see how vulnerable heavy armor is from what is happening in Ukraine (from both sides).

FYI - FAB 1500 is "1500 kilograms", equalling roughly 3200 pounds. The "little" FAB 250 is roughly 550 pounds.
