Abolish DHS? As I have written over and over again, the national security state is an employment agency to keep people occupied who have no jobs due to the globalist economy that uses our gigantic trade deficit to export dollars that, among other things, keep our 900 military facilities up and running. It really doesn't matter if these people have any real work to do.

I thought everyone knew this.

It’s 700 military facilities I thought? See Elon and Vivek new co-chair roles.

I am totally unimpressed with any of these choices that have emerged. After doing my own research, I find that everyone of these people are connected to AIPAC money and the Israeli lobby. So Trump once again has been played and is putting Neocons into his administration. One of the things that upsets me the most is that Bob Kennedy and Tulsi Gabbard came on board and helped get him elected reached out to people he couldn’t get to and brought him in and what does he do for them nothing.

Tulsi Gabbard is head shoulders, more qualified to be either state, or Defense Secretary. She’s certainly absolutely qualified to be chief of staff more so than Susie Wiles. Bob Kennedy, I am sure was promised a role in reforming healthcare and trying to get our healthcare cost down and yet he’s not gonna be the HHS secretary what is he going to be?

For the record I did not vote for Trump. I voted for Bob Kennedy because I live in a red state.

If Harris had been elected, it would’ve only hastened the day of reckoning that’s going to come because of our debt deficit and spending. I was hopeful if Trump was elected at least we would slow the process and maybe he would do something about it. I am now at this point disappointed, and I don’t think he’s going to do anything. He is not going to focus on this country concerned about trying to make deals with Russia and Israel and whoever else.

I give Trump one thing though he can sell ice cubes to an Eskimo. He had an historic victory. What is he going to do with it? Will he just waste it and the political capital he has accumulated.

The three people I would rather call them all imbeciles running for majority. Leader are also bought and paid for by AIPAC. I don’t expect anything from whoever wins the race. I have said it too many times that Washington DC is nothing but a corrupt cesspool and I don’t think it can be cleaned up.

I predict Trump will make a number of missteps in the first two years and will lose control of the house in 2026. That is just normal in any presidential term. The question will be how many seats will we lose?

Overall, I’m just not overwhelmed and impressed. He’s blowing his chance of going down as a great president.

If you didn’t vote for Trump why do you care about who he picks for his cabinet?

Because I am concerned about whether this country is going to survive or not due to our debt, deficit and out of control spending. Let me give you an example. We take in about $460 billion in Medicare taxes. We are spending as of the last fiscal year something like $2.78 trillion. We can’t pay for all of that and if we don’t get it under control, then we’re going to have a collapse. Trump and Harris both never fronted. This never said a word about it and act like it doesn’t matter. Kennedy was the only one talking about this stuff and while as a conservative, and I wouldn’t agree on a lot of things, but about the 20% that I’m interested in I did agree with him.

So what are we going to do? Should we just go on and close our eyes and allow Trump and the people in Congress to add another seven to $10 trillion in debt in the next four years?

I assume that this will continue until there is a default on our national debt. That will hurt.

I gotta agree at this point. I tried to keep the faith, but ...

We may get some sort of election reform, if he appoints a really gung ho AG. We may get some concessions to social conservatives. We'll probably get a bunch of good judges. These are things we definitely would never have gotten otherwise, and they're important. But the big picture of where we are as a nation? I'm not seeing it.

Every single person getting an appointment has said insulted Trump. Unless you’re dumping the VP and all staff so far …

@mtracey

Accusing Trump of committing "genocide," betraying the Constitution, disgracing the US military, waging a deranged "imperialistic" foreign policy of pillaging and plundering, lying about his "anti-war" intentions, and then introducing a blistering formal censure resolution against him is a little different than the usual petty "insults.

Trump has installed Mike Huckabee as US Ambassador to Israel. Huckabee, currently an Evangelical Christian preacher and broadcaster, subscribes to "End Times" theology and proclaims Israel a fulfillment of biblical prophecy. There has never before been such a person in this role

Very fitting that one of the most flamboyant transatlantic mouthpieces for the Israeli pulverization campaign was present at Mar-a-Lago on Election Night. If "neoconservatism" still exists as an active ideological tendency, Douglas Murray is one of its purest personifications
