They can't be reasoned with, they can't be bargained with. They don't feel pity of remorse or fear and they absolutely will not stop. Ever. Until you are vaccinated and masked.

Yancey, I know you're into stats. Have you seen the reports lately that in Pfizer's trials--before they vaxxed them all--all cause mortality was 25% higher among the vaxxed compared with the placebo group? As usual, no meaningful breakout re cause, no autopsies that I'm aware of. The only breakout is Covid v. non-Covid. Still ...

The last numbers I saw were 21 all cause deaths out of 22,000 for the vaccinated arm and 17 deaths out of 22,000 for the placebo arm. However, the placebo arm was blown up last Fall, so I don't know what one can say about this going forward.

Way old news old Frank but then again that seems to be the strategy, paint every significant inconvenient fact old news immediately as it breaks. I often regret not having paid closer attention when the whole "move on" narrative started back in the old days.

I don't mean you, I mean the powers that be who use their control of media to just fast-forward the news cycle and leave important if damning stories and fact patterns in the rearview mirror. We all forget and "move on" whether we want to or not.

And on the Non Woke side, you are having the blinders removed.

Conservatives are going through a profound change in trust of our institutions.

Trump is still hammering the point the 2020 election was stolen, and he is using it as a litmus test for support. It’s interesting how many eGOP have ignored the fraud, say we need to move on, and when forced do lip service to investigate.

The courts have also shown they can’t be trusted. Amazing how they dodged the fraud issues in 2020.

And Antifa is supposedly an idea, while Jan 6 “insurrectionists” are still in jail.

Trump doesn't need support, and he doesn't need the job. He is using it as a litmus test to determine if enough citizens are concerned by the irregularities in the 2020 election to warrant taking on all Washington and many State officials to correct this. Nixon didn't want to challenge the 1960 Kennedy election because of the damage this would cause to our faith in the system, but that was basically one State and the city of Chicago. In 2020 all Washington was in on the cover-up and there were criminal acts performed wholesale. This would open up a major confrontation. Just days ago a Judge Neureiter in Colerado imposed a major penalty (187K) on lawyers for daring to challenge the election with what he deemed frivolous lawsuits, and emphasized the damage this causes to public confidence in our system. Any full-scale attempt to undo the election even if it were only fought out in the Courts would be the equivalent of a Civil War or Revolution, and would determine the future of our Country. If the majority of our citizens are willing to let this slide, don't expect President Trump to save us. And don't expect President Trump to consider running in the future if this is not corrected.

A small, belated but still very welcome instance of sanity fighting back is this Missouri ruling linked to at instapundit: pjmedia.com/instapundit/487556/

It rules that unelected bureaucrats cannot be delegated authority to determine covid policies like closing schools and churches, wearing masks, etc. It's a very strong ruling, and its opening paragraph is,

"Judgment:

This case is about whether Missouri's Department of Health and Senior Services regulations can abolish representative government in the creation of public health laws, and whether it can authorize closure of a school or assembly based on the unfettered opinion of an unelected official. This Court finds it cannot."

A very good read. Hopefully it stands up to higher court review.

The Clinton-era Waco standoff was a long time back, so not everybody gets the "Branch Covidian" reference. I just call it vaccism. Or Faucism, if I feel the need to be a little more pointed.
