They can't be reasoned with, they can't be bargained with. They don't feel pity of remorse or fear and they absolutely will not stop. Ever. Until you are vaccinated and masked.

A small, belated but still very welcome instance of sanity fighting back is this Missouri ruling linked to at instapundit: pjmedia.com/instapundit/487556/

It rules that unelected bureaucrats cannot be delegated authority to determine covid policies like closing schools and churches, wearing masks, etc. It's a very strong ruling, and its opening paragraph is,

"Judgment:

This case is about whether Missouri's Department of Health and Senior Services regulations can abolish representative government in the creation of public health laws, and whether it can authorize closure of a school or assembly based on the unfettered opinion of an unelected official. This Court finds it cannot."

A very good read. Hopefully it stands up to higher court review.
