I have a couple of Korean friends who are convinced that their long term political subordination to American military interests, is a serious contributing factor to the tragic modern levels of suicide. Too great a dishonour to bear (and to be clear, these are serious Christians, not at all averse to western ideas - only dominance).
I’ve been to both Japan and Europe as a much younger man back in the early 90’s. Looking back, even then, when we were there as naive youngsters we kind of had the sense that neither place was independent of the “Empire.” It was just a “cultural” sense that was instilled throughout the organization.

Anyway, along comes Lee Smith today with a devastating analysis of the utter corruption of Trump’s (and our) enemies, including the utterly fake Russian interference stories, both then and now. Interestingly (and I'm not disagreeing with him), Smith places Obama at the center of the conspiracy.
Smith is a superb journalist and he absolutely nails it here. Highly recommended:

Thus, Comey IS loyal, and Trump IS a Russian agent.
Ask any chattering class European and he'll tell you that Russia is intrinsically evil and that if Russia wins, Putin's tanks will roll West. They really believe this. And they really believe the NATO alliance with the US is protecting them.
