As far as aircraft carriers go, I believe we are at the point on have been where there are now obsolete to a degree. When it is possible for a group of hypersonic missiles to take out a carrier task force in a matter of minutes you really have to reevaluate how effective they are in the long term given the expense to build and maintain.
In certain situations, they may still have some relevance, but given what we have seen from Yemen with Houthis and they’re closing down of the red sea, you have to wonder what good they are now
I think as far as the military budget is concerned, we are fast approaching the day of reckoning on whether we could afford a big navy and whether we can continue to operate 800 overseas military bases
President Donald Trump selected Dr. Oz to lead the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. The celebrity doctor and talk show host has been tied to the globalist World Economic Forum and has supported abortion and transgenderism.
His background does not represent MAGA people. Does he have the knowledge and skills to overhaul the two flawed services?
Many baby boomers are using these services now, and are not being treated well. I am one of them, and am very unhappy with the impersonal 'care' dictates.
Again, ambassadors don't necessarily need to be subject area experts, but it's kinda cool when they're able to offer the POTUS intelligent, informed advice. Which is not to suggest that Whittaker isn't intelligent and informed. In general.
President-elect Donald Trump announced Wednesday his selection of Matthew Whitaker to serve as the U.S. ambassador to NATO. Whitaker served as chief of staff to Attorney General Jeff Sessions and subsequently as acting attorney general for a short period during Trump’s first presidential term, but is ***an outsider to the national security realm.***
Of course ambassadors are required to say what the POTUS tells them to say. OTOH, it's always disappointing to learn how willing those who aspire to join the Ruling Class to say patently stupid things:
Michael Tracey @mtracey
Matt Whitaker, Trump's new pick for US Ambassador to NATO, previously criticized Biden for being insufficiently committed to "punishing Russia"

Matt Whitaker, Trump’s new pick for US Ambassador to NATO, has said that Poland is next on Putin’s list of countries to invade, and demanded the expeditious supply of “heavy weapons” to Ukraine
Anybody know who has been posting WikiLeaks tweets for the past 7 years?

I do not understand the Oz pick at all.

Maybe Whittaker will be the last ambassador to NATO ? Hope springs eternal.

I wonder if Rogers being floated for FBI is disinformation being put out by the Trump team to keep its opponents off balance.
IJMe: He is such a blatantly hideous pick, one has to wonder what is DJT thinking (!!!😳😳😳) OR disinformation and 5 level chess being played?
We do know that DJT loves to troll.
