It's been a great week for lovers of sanity and good: McCarthy getting kicked out, the Fico election win, and now this. The icing on the cake would be the release of Lawrence Fox in the UK from the trumped up charges against him.

Absolutely, Qui, but its been a bloody awful three years, so we take solace where we can. The whole system is creaking.

Of all the things I object about this country as currently constituted is the maiming of children. Abortion's bad enough. Now the forces of evil want to allow youngsters to permanently alter their bodies. They can't smoke, per the Lefties, but they can take hormones or be surgically castrated because of peer pressure and wanting to fit in.

When I was in my teens, I wore my hair long, because that is what males were doing in the 60s and 70s. When I turned 18 and realized that my values are I think men should wear short hair, I got a crew cut.

I was fortunate. Long hair can be sheared off.

Give it five to ten years and see how our youth condemn us, we who should know better, for not protecting innocents from mutilation. Of course there's going to be regret. God have mercy on so many wicked men. Millstones, necks, the sea and all that.

"God have mercy on so many wicked men."

I hate to quibble here, but I see women at the forefront of this madness. Modern women have become the most neurotic and mentally unstable segment of our society. They are most likely to be the parent who is rushing their child into choices on their sexual identity long before they even know who they really are and decisions of this magnitude at ever lower ages is grotesque evil on their part often times just to look "progressive" to their peers.

I was using "men" in the traditional sense of the word, where 'men' represented men and women, as in "these are the times that try men's souls."

Which, as I reflect upon your, and subsequent comments, is germane to the topic. When I was younger, 'men', 'man' and 'mankind' were used to represent the human race. The feminists decided that this was offensive and most people today say 'people.' I'm one of the few holdouts to still use 'men' in the inclusive sense.

In changing to 'people' instead of 'men', especially in the Bible, men (here I mean only males) have been stripped of their role as head of the family, filler of traditional men's jobs, such as policemen and firemen, etc.

Hence, women have filled the void. And to your point of women being at the forefront of this madness, I wholeheartedly agree. As men have retreated, women became more like men. Standards in the military, the police and fire professions were changed to allow for the inclusion of women. Can anyone rationally say that he'd desire an all-female firehouse, for example? Of course not. But we have to pretend that it's a net good to have increasing numbers of women in the firefighting profession, to say nothing of other areas.

Is it any wonder that mentally ill men now want to become women? Look at commercials and how men, particularly white men, are portrayed as dolts, slobs, obnoxious. Women are shown as wise, assertive, in charge, leaders. We've moved from a Father Knows Best society to Mother Knows Best.

I'm one of the few who appreciates the irony of women complaining about transgender women competing and winning in women's sports. Women took jobs away from men, moved into men's roles and now they complain when the shoe is on the other foot.

Both sexes are (or should be) responsible. Just as it was in the very beginning.

Agree.........

You are seeing more Muslims rejecting this nonsense and joining forces with the similar minded Christians is a good thing to see and must be frightening to the mentally disturbed left. One of the biggest promoters of this gender dysphoria is the Pritzker family with the IL governor in the lead. It's about perverted sexual activism, money and power driving this madness.

I don't recall the book, but I as a Greek Orthodox Christian I am fully aware of the enmity between us and them. I agree with D'Sousa, especially here in the USA, but the Greeks are pretty hostile to Islam, of course. It dates back to the Byzantine Empire.

The local news media in Nashville had the 'sads' when this decision came down, particularly with Vanderbilt University being in the headlines under the context of butchering and/or sterilizing youngsters for big dollars being exposed. You know what side they're on, and it isn't the young minds full of mush as Rush used to say. Then there is the murdering biological female tranny that killed six at Covenant elementary in Nashville whose 'manifesto' has yet to see the light of day.

Didn't the Kentucky legislature override the democrat governor's veto on this law? I believe it did.

“Non-judgmentalism is not an option. There is one reality that we must live with, and we need to make judgments. “

That, Mark, is the phrase that pays. The quote of the day.

My wife and I were discussing that very same point a few weekends ago.

Psalm 51:4, John 7:24. Yet, we do not judge out of superiority of intellect but via recognition of God's mercy to us and mankind through Christ and out of the wisdom we have been given through the Holy Spirit.

Especially as the people who go on about non-judgmentalism are the most judgemental people on the planet.

Just like those who scream racism the loudest are generally projecting and they are the true racists in our society. It's like the Humanists who generally are the most inhumane of any society.
