Zionism = nationalism = monolithic ethnos = controlled borders

Liberalism = globalism = plurality, multiculturalism = open borders

Perfidy was an interesting book, Rezső Kasztner was assassinated before he could spill the beans. As bad as Zionism is, a lot of regular Jews had no other option.

Bibi is in a tough bind.

It’s truly sick that there is a choice there at all, as if that contradiction is somehow not fatal to the Zionist entity from the very beginning. We see now the logical result of such dissonance and rank hypocrisy - a nation so sure of its moral superiority that it now proudly sows the seeds of its own downfall by righteously visiting upon another people that which the entire world condemned in the prior turning.

That even the most craven, warmongering politicians in the US are now trying to distance themselves from these actions speaks volumes about the irreparable damage that has been done to the image of Israel and Zionism. There will be no rehabilitation of that image, no sympathetic face can be conjured from such darkness once it shows itself in the light.

Looks like there's no rehabilitation either for the GOP's image. Speaker Mike wants to invite Netanyahu to speak to Congress.

By aligning with Israel, the Evangelicals in the GOP are creating a new talking point for the left....."See they are all war mongering racists who prefer genocide to democracy."

There may be some evangelicals who have gotten, ahem...........religion, on the perfidy of Israel with regards to the Palestinians.

It’s so strange to watch the whole western world contort itself over Ukraine and Gaza to the point that it’s almost unrecognizable. Defending the indefensible is our new national pastime and the moral decay is beyond advanced. I guess it’s not really surprising given the general societal trajectory, but the constant hypocrisy and dissembling we’re confronted with every day are still jarring.

Maybe I am out of touch with most American Jewish thinking. I’m pretty sure the dems are not overly worried about losing the Jewish vote. Nor do I think American liberal Jews lose sleep over Biden’s half-hearted Zionism. What was it.... over 70% of Jews voted for Biden in 2020 even after Trump did the Abraham accords? Vote with conservative evangelicals for Zion Don? Oy vey!

Plus, Many of the Jews of the neo-conservative kind ( RiNOs, IMO) ARE virulent never-Trumpers.

The Politics make strange bed fellows. Israel needs evangelical support more than ever for their survival. Evangelicals overwhelmingly support Trump. Trump has to thread the needle or risk alienating his CUFI evangelical base, but I am sure he is salivating at Michigan. Kagan Kristol and company will continue to oppose Trump. It’s a strange world we live in.

At the risk of sounding anti-Semitic, I sure am sick of these Zionist Jews.

Criticising Zionism isn't anti-Semitic.

Seems saying (or typing) "Criticizing Zionism isn't anti-Semitic" makes one an anti-Semite these days.

I'm fine with it, to be honest. The more they throw that phrase at people, the less it stings. We are going to start WW3 because I can't talk about Israel's disgusting human rights violations? Because...the Holocaust? Does that track to you?

What is the intent of American Jews and Zionists incessantly smearing all white Americans, Christians or not, as white supremacists and terrorists.

Cas, I appreciate your fair minded attempt to distinguish between the two, but it seems they are one and the same.

They're historically the same. They're just finally losing control of The Narrative. Too many people can see with their own eyes what this Jewish ethno-state has done for the many decades of its existence. And with the endless support of every American politician.

Tiktok, of all things, has helped usher in a new awareness about it.

https://ntwrightpage.com/1998/01/01/pauls-gospel-and-caesars-empire/

"In Colossians 2, Paul warns the young church, not indeed against an actual syncretism or threatening new religion, but against **Judaism described in terms of paganism.**19 From Paul's Christian point of view, those Jews who do not embrace Jesus as their Messiah are thereby embracing instead **an identity marked out by blood and soil, by ancestry and territory, in other words, by the "flesh".** They are therefore subject to the same critique as paganism. "

It's a long article.
