Well, that’s the hot rumor. I thought I’d get that “out there” because I’ll be accompanying my wife to a back procedure for her stenosis, which causes sciatic nerve problems. As a result I’ll be out of pocket for a while. The procedure itself, as I understand it, is to alleviate ligament pressure on the nerve by inserting some sort of prosthetic “thing”. Local anesthetic only. Other types of stenosis have to do with the spine itself but, fortunately, this is not that. In other words, it’s not back surgery, which is a big no-no at our age. Whew!
To lead into the rumor, there’s this—follow the date stamp for the video:
One of the craziest clips of all time.
Jamie Raskin: Unlike Joe Biden, Trump and his family used politics to enrich themselves.
Psaki: What do you think of the false reporting that Biden is slowing down?
Raskin: Biden's age is healing the world.
Can you believe these people? Of course not, but you know what I means. Utterly shameless.
Anyway, yeah, that’s the hot rumor. It makes sense. I hear that Zhou had to cancel a fund raising event in Wisconsin yesterday—because the would be donors backed out. That’s the kiss of death. But it makes sense that Zhou would resign the presidency—not just the ticket—because the public MSM stuff has gone too far in revealing that he’s never really been the president, at least not in the usual sense. Part time at best. I’m sure the Dems regard a resignation as by far the best option, as I tried to explain yesterday. They think they can use this to slide past all those issues of “who the hell was running things in this disaster of an administration?” Time to “move on” ya’ll! I’m not so sure that’ll wash with the American people, even if the GOPers go along with it. Of course, this means President Kama Sutra.
There’s another mind blowing rumor out there, and it suggests to me that those “who the hell was running things?” issues won’t be going away. The rumor is that the new ticket will be Kama Sutra and Butt what’s-his-name. Does that dispel issues of “who the hell was running things?” for you? Me neither. Read the first paragraph of 25 Section 4 again:
Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President.
Right. Two specific mentions of the VP. Instead of redecorating the VP residence for the umpteenth time and going on Parisian shopping sprees, Kama Sutra was supposed to be keeping an eye on the guy who’s resigning because he can no longer find his own ass with both hands. That raises big questions, doesn’t it?
Now, you’re probably saying: Wait! Why Butt what’s-his-name? Why not Boy Gavin, or Mean Girl Gretchen? Here’s the thing. If it’s a resignation—and it really has to be, IMO, to have a chance of making this work—rather than a temporary “acting President” pursuant to the 25th, they’ll need a new VP. That means a majority vote of both Houses of Congress. Even the feckless GOP won’t vote for Gavin or Gretchen, so … a cabinet member? At least, that’s my recollection. He’s still in the cabinet, right? And that put’s Butt what’s-his-name on the ticket.
While it’s true that the business of of a VP could probably be postponed indefinitely, I don’t think that will happen. In the circumstances it would just look too much like one more irregular end run around the Constitution. And a vacancy would leave Speaker Mikey a heartbeat away from the Oval Office. Not only would that make the Dems very uncomfortable, it would make me very uncomfortable!
Hey—I’m just repeating the rumors that are out there. Just in case. There is, on the other hand, a print report that suggests intra-Dem conflict—but doesn’t contradict the rumor:
Democratic donors prepare to pump money into contest that could block Harris from taking over
A group of Democratic donors has pledged $2 million for a “mini primary” to ensure an open competition for the nomination, according to the Washington Post. The group led by former Paypal and Intuit CEO Bill Harris would help fund presidential debates for the leading Democratic candidates to participate in, with the hopes of drawing public attention to Biden’s replacement. Other Democrats have already started preparing for Harris to take over.
This looks like a $2 million donation to furnish a smoke filled room. In the end, I can’t see that happening, for reasons I’ve already explained. BTW, Danny Davis says Trump already has a new nickname for what’s-her-name. I still like Kama Sutra. Actually, DD has some interesting things to say on this score. I’ve cued this video up for that part:
In not-a-rumor news …
The truth slowly comes out
Quote
Tiberius @ecomarxi
As we’ve been saying since day one: Israel murdered many of its own citizens on October 7th
This has been known since, let’s say, October 8th. The “most moral army in the world”—depends on what you think is moral—turned the whole area into a kill zone. This is not news, except to the usual whacked out Zionists.
In flight news, some interesting stuff going on. In the first tweets, the Dassault Falcon 7X is a large cabin, long range, business jet. The kind of plane that might be used by high level state officials:
Hungarian Air Force Falcon 7X (HUAF592 reg. 606) heading toward Moscow
Orbán missed Moscow already?
Reply
HUAF592 Circling south west of Smolensk now, for unknown reason
The next one shows NATO planes still avoiding the Black Sea:
Romania Air Force
2 x C-130B/H Transport plane from Mihail Kogălniceanu NATO Base, avoiding the Black Sea, landing in Batumi, Georgia
(reg. 5930 / 9143)
That’s all for now.
Can you picture a Trump/Harris debate?! She’d make Dementia Joe look like Stephen A. Douglas.
My 2¢
I'll happily disagree w the rumors. Barring additional facts, I don't see Joe resigning from office. Certainly not as soon as tomorrow. It will destroy his legacy. I'm not saying it shouldn't be destroyed, but I would expect Joe, of all people, to put up a stubborn fight.
I think resignation from office unnecessarily raises the VP issue. Since a new VP requires GOP consent, I don't see it in the run up to election.
I think its more likely Joe concedes he is not up to a 2d term by reason of health and age. He will say *he* has decided not to run. He will ask the American People for understanding and commit to doing the best job possible as POTUS over the next six months. He will ask the convention delegates and the American People to decide who is best suited to carry on his legacy as the next POTUS. He will say he will support their decision.
Of course the decision will actually be made by the blob, but that's how it'll be spun. I still think Kamala will be the choice. I think she'll lose in November and while I think its conceivable Buttwhatever will be the VP choice, I think it will be a terrible choice. He has no - absolutely no - record to run on.
Just my 2¢
