So this is a brief morning update on Ukraine. Kudos go to CTH which last night presented the real story of what’s going on and who’s calling the shots. Surprise. It’s the US, the Zhou regime. Early reports that Ukraine was willing to negotiate with Russia were followed by a slowing of the Russian offensive, but all that has apparently been quashed. The subject line at CTH pretty much says it all:
CTH is quoting official sources. The bottom line, as so often, is that the US wants foreigners to dies for Globalism. Sundance concludes:
The arrogance and controlling attitude by the U.S. State Dept tells us all we really need to know.
The Biden administration has created this crisis between Russia and Ukraine for a convenient purpose, and the White House is not about to let Zelenskyy screw it up and create peace.
The U.S. wants President Zelenskyy to leave Ukraine, so the State Department can take full control over the narrative. Zelenskyy is refusing to leave.
This morning South Front is reporting along the same lines—that Ukraine has changed its tune under pressure from DC:
On February 26, Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov has claimed that the Ukrainian side refused to launch negotiations.
“Yesterday afternoon, amid the expected negotiations with the Ukrainian leadership, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief and the president of Russia gave the order to suspend the advance of the main forces of the Russian troops,” Peskov said.
It was added that the Ukrainian side refused to sit down to talk. That’s why Russian forces resumed their advance in the afternoon on February 26, according to the plan of the military operation.
Kiev’s position is an expression of the West’s will.
The refus[al] to launch negotiations between Kiev and Moscow is a sign that the West is not interested in peace in Ukraine but is aimed at destroying the Russian economy through this war.
The Kiev’s decision was also undoubtedly affected by the slowing down of the Russian advance after the Ukrainian side announced that it was ready to start negotiations on February 25.
To be honest I’m not sure how far to trust South Front reporting. Here it seems to fall in line with official Western sources.
The destruction of a truly sovereign Russia and installation of a puppet globalist regime has been a centerpiece of US policy for decades. Trump threatened to upset that program and had to go. However, none of this was any mystery to Putin and he has been preparing for this showdown for a long time. The Russian joke goes that a Russian doesn’t take a crap without a plan. Putin is legendarily cautious, so we should assume that he has a contingency plan for any reasonably foreseeable development.
All this is why I wish Trump would knock off the braggadoccio it-wouldn’t-have-happened-on-my-watch stuff. I get that that’s electioneering talk, but IMO he should be reverting to his original line of stressing diplomacy, deal making, and international cooperation for the benefit of all. It wouldn’t hurt, either, to point out the misguided policies—things like the attempted “color revolutions” in Kazakhstan and Belarus, the 2014 coup in Ukraine led by top Zhou officials—that got us to this point. Truth is a powerful weapon, and in very short supply in the American public square. The State colluding media is already saying that they’ll suppress “misinformation” about Russia and Ukraine. It would be helpful for Trump to fill the truth void as only he can.
A final note. The longer this continues the more pressure will be placed on US “allies”, and especially on Poland. This map shows where potentially millions of Ukrainian refugees will be heading:
Poland will be the overwhelmingly likely destination for Ukrainian refugees. The Poles successfully avoided the wave of Middle Eastern migrants, but they will likely be under intense pressure from the Zhou regime to accept all Ukrainian comers. Moreover, geography favors Poland as the destination of choice for Ukrainians. The land routes to Slovakia, Hungary, and Romania lie through rugged, mountainous terrain in winter, distant from urban areas with resources for housing such an influx. Poland, on the other hand, is readily accessible by road, urban areas are relatively near to the border, and there is already a considerable Ukrainian diaspora in Poland. Wikipedia reports that “About 1 to 2 million Ukrainian citizens are working in Poland”—due to the economic, social, and political chaos over the years in Ukraine. This will be part of the price Poland will pay for advanced US armaments. How long that will be considered a favorable deal could be another story.
This was all avoidable. The key is that the Globalists didn’t want to avoid it.
What is the Odessa massacre Putin mentioned? I found little information when I went looking, which is suspicious. Putin brought up in his speech, and you would think there would be some curiosity in the Western Press.
Saker mentioned it in his analysis. He is pro Russian.

Another area I would like trustworthy information is the so called Ukrainian Fascist militia that got folded into the Ukrainian army. There seems to two narratives on the Ukrainian government. One is they are pure and for liberty and justice, and Democracy and global rights, basically as white as snow. The other they are Ukrainian nationalists that discriminate against ethnic Russians.
Tom Luongo has an insightful article at zerohedge:

He not mention how NATO took offensive actions in Libya and Serbia that went counter to claim they are only defensive. Or how Kosovo was created.
