This administration has to be stopped from making this a totalitarian dystopian nightmare society. Ordinarily one would say Congress and the Courts should be the check on that happening. Where have they been and where are they? Why aren't they affirming their Constitutional prerogatives? Or do they not understand their roles? Or do they not care? Or do they want a totalitarian state? The Republicans have been quiet as mice. Somebody better start caring pretty soon or all of them (and all of us) are going to lose all that we have been blessed with beginning with freedom.
The roots of this go much further back--certainly to the two Clinton administrations. It was put on steroids by the two W administrations--Patriot Act, DHS, etc.

What’s needed is a systematic dismantling of the apparatus of the federal state that mirrors and undoes the ballooning of said apparatus under FDR.
